There's not much overtaking there really. Do you have grand stand tickets or just field tickets? We usually stand there because it is closest to the campsite entrance. Shortest route to beer and bbq :)
Oh, so the corner is what you are talking about. I was thinking of part of the straight.

My ticket is for the field/general admission. I don't really care, as long as I get to see the cars.

I was thinking about camping, but I can't bring my equipment, unless I rent some.

I would love to camp in the forest to wake up to the sound of birds and race cars:drool:

I'm excited!

Got the Playstation Classic today! I didn't get it for what it is, but more like what it can become. Kind of wanted one from the beginning, but I wanted to wait for the price to go down and I held hope the mods would make it much more interesting. As I expected, the mods for this thing have become pretty darn good now and for $20, why not? Yea I know PC emulators exist, but to put it bluntly, they're just not the same for me.

Already played it some and so far I am mildly impressed with. Going to make some desirable changes to it soon though, should be fun! :D

I think field tickets are just fine. The grandstand tickets are pretty expensive and make you stick to one part of the track. And the Spa circuit has quite some enjoyable place to view the race from, even with just a green ticket.

Pro tip, be on time on Sunday, like 7 AMish.

I was too late. I waited too long to get the last GTX 1080 Ti at the store it was still available. They removed it from their list.

NOT AT ALL A musician... I have no musical skills whatsoever, but will try to dabble a bit and see where it goes...

Just enjoy it! I teach a music class 12 times a week and have not an ounce of musical talent in me. It’s still fun.

I use to play a lot of music instruments

  1. Radio
  2. Cassette
  3. Radio-cassette player
  4. CD-player
  5. MP3 player
  6. Youtube music channel
You see, I'm very musically talented.
Me too, I played radio and telephone; static on radio and wrong phone number!

Was in two minds to whether I needed a new undershirt, so when I saw this it sealed the deal...

I don't know what half of this means so feel free to dog me as I forked out just under 900 dollars for it. (That icludes the extra memory I bought to double it.)

All I know is that it run iRacing with zero issues, and I'm a happy camper.

It's a good entry level, balanced build and the pricing seems fair enough without further inspection. I would say a good purchase. Being a prebuilt, one day the upgrade I would personally do is the motherboard and the PSU.

Good purchase. Not super duper high-end but definitely more than capable to play current games on high settings, if you don't go triple monitor setup.

You are set for at least 3 - 5 years. Good thinking doubling the amount of RAM.

Literally the only additional purchase I'd personally make is a hard drive to run alongside the SSD. Other than that, it's a great deal you've got there.

Also came with a fairly cheap (quality of plastic is a bit to be desired) keyboard and mouse. Does that help the cause? :P

Duly noted. Thanks you. :)

Not looking into triples. I think that would throw me off or make me sick, which needless to say, I'm definitely not going VR.

The extra RAM sh'all be credited as my father's idea!

Also noted.

Thanks all for the feedback. Much appreciated. :D

Smoke grey Brawler64 controller for the N64.

The joysticks on my original 64 controllers are shot. There's mods and fixes for them out there but I'm nowhere near confident enough to go pulling them apart myself. Been hearing really good things about the Brawler and I love the look of the layout.

And three more games. Luckily cartridges on their own are still cheap because boxed games certainly aren't.

Sadly my Harmony 650 could no longer keep up with my latest requirements so a new Harmony Elite remote is on it's way.

Its little brother has worked great in the theater room. You'll love it. 👍

I love my Harmony but Logitech really need to sort out the software side.

Oh yeah I know all about that having used them for years, the PC software is woeful. I'm hoping the app based software that this remote can use is much better. I find once setup though Harmony remotes are great.

Just bought this Sony Alpha 58 DSLR. Got it used for 180€ with a camera bag, 16GB SD card, and the standard accessories. Can't wait to take it with me on my trip to Norway next Monday and to the track/car meets in the near future.

If you don't have some, get more memory cards. 16 gig isnt much when you are using the cameras best resolution. And it would be a waste of DSLR to use anything other than it's best resolution.
