Yes this time I actually have it, and it works, well. Asus VK222U, 22" LCD with Built in Speakers and Webcam, $300. Bought it for the PS3.

New pants this time =]

Levi's 511s...the gray ones were discontinued and 30 bucks the other was 37...not bad

Also got some "JDM cow seatbelt covers" from the local tapioca drink place

Those cow seatbelt covers are JDM tyt3 yo. I'm slightly jealous.

Edit: The bicycle I posted at the top of the page will be mine by tomorrow morning so expect to see it in here again.

All used up the day I got 'em, and I'm still short 15. I also got a pair of Levis, which I'm kinda wearing right now, so no pic.

I just can't get used to those types of ear plugs. Seriously, you have to squeeze them in your ear, that's the most disgusting thing ever made! "Hey, wanna borrow mine?" No thanks!:ill:

I know what you mean! Using in-ear is pretty disgusting and you have to spend some time jamming it into your brain but I guess its the price you have to pay if you want the best sound quality without going for full on headsets. No sharing them around then! :yuck:

I always loved the ease of on ear (normal) headphones but they just don't cut it in the sound dept.

My man, you should try these:

Ask any user of these if they want to trade in theirs for something else, they'll shoot you.

In-ear plugs are great if you use public transportation. You can listen to your music as loud as you want and nobody else will hear it, and you won't listen to noisy kids yelling or cranky old people complaining about life.

That's not entirely true.

My sister's Samsung earplugs won't make any noise, like you said. However, my friend's iPod earplugs make too much noise to take, we've got to ask her to turn down the volume because it's so irritating.

Those Koss headphones I posted, however, make no noise. Every single headphone I have does it, but not those, and dispite the small size of them, they produce the best amount of sound out of an headphone I've ever heard. Actually, it's a close second next my dad's 25 year old Sony (or was it Philips?) headphones, those remain the best without a doubt 👍

Time to show off my Petit Le Mans swag:

VW Rabbit polo. This normally goes for $41.99 on VW's Web site. It was marked at $25 and when the guy saw me looking at it he knocked $5 off the price, so I got a $42 shirt for $20.

At the same booth I got a VW hat. Normally $18 on the Web site, marked at $12.95 at the VW booth. It was their second to last one.

And I am officially a VW fanboy now.

Then Road Atlanta was doing a guest survey and I had a choice between a free t-shirt or free visor. I chose the T-shirt.

Then while walking I found a Petit Le Mans golf towel just laying on the ground. SNAG!!!

And I cannot fail to point out that I am now in the LittleBigPlanet Beta. Here it is on my PS3's XMB. WOOHOO!!!

You share headphones even? I guess if it is someone you know is clean, but we have to use headphones a lot at work and I know I don't let anyone else touch mine. I don't want their hair grease, dandruff, or who knows what else touching something that will then be on my head. Sharing ear phones or head phones is equally nasty to me.

Yeah headsets are good but no offense I can't stand those people who use them as a fasion accessory to go with thier clothing so they can look 80's chique.. BAh! People walk round like they are bloody DJ's... oh look at me, im really into music look at my massive headset that I wear round my neck even in lectures... why don't you go the whole hog and walk round with a boom box with tape deck!

That and they are bulky.. But if people use them because they actaully want good quality audio then thats fine.

I've never come across those kind of people, merely because earplugs are in these days and I see nothing but people walking around with earplugs in all day long :P, even when standing near their group when everyone is talking... Which makes me go the hell?

I always have headphones (big bulky ones :D ) around my neck, or I'm listening to them. Also I don't use them as a fashion statement, I use them because they sound good. I hate earphones, none of them fit into my ears properly, so they always fall out.

Ok this is the closest I could find quickly to what im trying to describe when people use them as a fashion statement... people walk round like this...:ouch: They don't even use them, they are there for effect!

But yeah as you guys said if your using them because you want to listen to audio properly and you prefer it that way then by all means... but putting them on to go with your shell suit... NO!

I have a pair of bulky noise cancelling head phones that I only use for airplanes, car rides, and yard work. Otherwise my $3.99 Radio Shack over-the-ear hooked ear buds work just fine.

Speaking of headphones I had some $30 regular headphones for the longest time and no matter what I can't find other headphones that can match the bass and sound quality for that cheap. Although I did use the larger pads from two PS2 headsets which is what gave it a good amount of it's bass and comfort, along with removing those uncomfortable behind ear supports. They were these.

Although this may be the wrong place to ask but since all of my headphones broke recently (first my regulars, then my $90 over ears, and then my horribly uncomfortable ipod in ear ones) what would be my best bet for bass and sound quality at a lower price. I'm thinking of just buying those sony ones again because they lasted so long and I like them, but i'm not sure.

You're not supposed to share IEMs. (In-Ear Monitors). That's why they come with 4 or 5 sets of pads/sleeves.

Those would be around my neck too if someone gave them to me. They sound terrible.

Koss KSC-35 clip-ons if you can find them. Or Sennheiser PX100s. PX200s if you want a closed can.

My parent's got three of them for free because they had such good credit. It is also by first cell phone.

I almost forgot, yesterday I bought one of these:

One more crucial part plus a little more work and I'll be making a new thread. For now I'll let you figure out what I'm building :sly:
