Got them at Journey's the other day. They look WAY better in real life. :)

Digital to analog converter box:

Soon to be hooked up to a 32" 720p LCD. Sad, huh? Series 2 TiVo = no HD so either I buy a new TiVo or grab a converter.

Converter wins. Besides, the Series 2 is in my bedroom and the HD Series 3 is in the living room, so it's not a big deal. It's still kinda of sad/funny to receive a digital signal, dumb it down to analog and then display it on a digital TV.

Just got this today :)

If you hadnt already guessed its a Hot Wheels 1:18 1966 Batmobile, The detail is really impressive and its all been faithfully re-created.... fire extinguisher and all. :sly:

The model apparently isnt even available in the UK yet and I managed to get one for only £19! Considering that some from the US are going on ebay for like £50 Im really happy.

Robin

Thats awesome! I have an OLD version of that... around the same era as "dinky toys" 70's? 60s? i dunno.

You're forgiven ;).

Very nice car! I like it even more if it's the same colour.

It is. Also has the splashguards, red pinstripe, and (once they arrive at the dealer) foglights, all weather floor mats, and trunk tray.

2008 Civic Si Sedan in Galaxy Gray. 18 Miles when I picked it up Saturday.

Eric, for the love of god, dont rice it out. No fart can exhaust plx

I couldn't afford a fart can if I did want one! I love the stock exhaust anyway, but it will probably have a cat-back one day.

That looks super nice Eric.! Congrats on your purchase. :)

Congrats, and welcome to the club. I think Keef, I, and maybe 2-3 others are the only ones with Si's. 👍

Thank you. :) I'm extremely happy to not be driving something so generic anymore ('99 Grand Am GT). And that third pedal...:dopey:

Good choice. I considered the Honda-Aftermarket Sports Exhaust, but even the mechanic told me all it does is make noise and doesn't offer that much power, if any.

Yeah, That's only axle-back anyway, so its basically a muffler...

Good news, my parts are in today. Just gotta make an appointment for installation, which will hopefully be Friday.

Keeping up my record of seeing every Motherwell European home game. (Although it's not much of a claim as this will only be their 5th...)

Have you decided to keep the PS3 or is it just the DVD version of the film?
Its just the DVD version. We have pretty much decided to take the PS3 back by the end of October. Blu-ray looks great but I just cant justify paying over $400-$450 for the PS3. The only thing I would really use it for is the blu-ray. All the games I want are already on the 360. Still have about 3 weeks to decide but I believe our minds are already set. I still plan on renting all the exclusive titles and as many blu-ray movies as possible before we bring it back. You can read more about my PS3 journey here. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=108100 I keep the first post updated with the games I rented and the blu-ray movies I have watched.

Most recent purchases? 1 year of GTPremium. :D

Before that, Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds for $17. They sound A LOT better than the standard iPod headphones.

I just ordered a limited edition (1 of 200) panoramic view of Red Rocks Amphitheater during the Sound Tribe Sector 9 show on September 6.

Not the best photo of it. Here's the page with zoomed in detail shots.

The picture itself is 1'x3'. Apparently it took the Photographer 27 pictures over 30 minutes to get the shot. The original uncompressed copies are 3'x8'.

I can't wait to get it. I'm definitely going to frame it asap.

Yeah....saw on another thread where you don't seem to be able to afford the PS3 and that you intend to return it.....

Better move it away from those white fire bricks before it's too late.

LOL
I have no problem being able to afford the PS3. I actually walked right in and bought it with cash on Friday. $450 with the HDMI cable. Its funny that someone decides they dont want a PS3 so you decide to bash them with a link of a 360 catching someones house on fire. Looks like the PS3 also catches houses on fire. http://www.destructoid.com/ps3-burns-down-guys-house-28254.phtml
I will eventually get a PS3 when it drops in price, its just not worth it to me right now considering I would be mainly buying it for blu-ray. Take your ignorant fanboy hate somewhere else.

A BenQ G2400WD, 24" LCD PC Monitor. $388. (On order still) Bought it to use for my PS3, if it dosen't work then we can still return it which is a good deal.

Too bad all it had inside was this:

And tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM I will be setting off on the road to use this:

It shall be great. And there will be pics. I have three sets of gatteries charged an 1.5GBs worth of memory cards for my camera. And I will try to remember my tripod this time so that my night shots don't look like crap liek last time. I will also attempt to remember to turn High-Speed shooting on so that they are clearer than my Mid-Ohio pics.
