450$ My dad went out and got it this morning and dropped it off at school for me. For a cruiser, it is ridiculously fast.
I'll have a real picture of it in here tomorrow.

I share my earphones with my friends! :dopey:

Speaking of headphones I had some $30 regular headphones for the longest time and no matter what I can't find other headphones that can match the bass and sound quality for that cheap. Although I did use the larger pads from two PS2 headsets which is what gave it a good amount of it's bass and comfort, along with removing those uncomfortable behind ear supports. They were these.

Weirdly enough, I had the same headphones as that! :D Well not sure if its exactly the same, but it was a Sony neckband headphones which look similar to that. Same as you, it lasted well over 2 years now without much problem. Only had the replace the sponge of the headphones and is now in pretty much bad condition. (the ear thingy snapped on both sides and the sony logo isn't visible either, but its still working fine!)

Ordered yesterday at 12:30 PM...arrived today at 11 AM :D.
This just shows to me that auto-racing sponsorships are unaffected by the performance of the car being driven. Granted, the Piloti Ford GT is being driven by grandma and grandpa Jones.

EDIT: For reference.

Now that I've come to it, the best way is my way, combining earplugs and headphones:

I play music with my iPod, with earplugs. The bass, I play myself through headphones, now there's a good quality bass sound right there!

*Runs off to play some Paranoid Android by Radiohead*

Maybe it's different from year to year, as mine will easily be heard on the other side of the room. On my third or fourth set now though.

Så fort du går gjennom dem! :scared:

Isn't there a life-time warranty on those though?

I'd have thought that with the Fast and the Furious, the poorer the quality of the recording, the more bearable the watching experience becomes?

I have a copy of it on zoetrope, although i can still see how wooden an actor Paul Walker is with it :indiff:

1) Why are you still buying HD-DVD?
2) Where did you find HD-DVD?

Let me guess, 20 of that was Cloverfield?

1) Because I have a HD DVD player and HD DVD films are now £2.99 each
2) www.hmv.com

And no, Cloverfield was £15.99

 I bought it because I like to watch it when I'm in the mood for a complete no brainer film. I have it on DVD but wanted to see if HD DVD made the quality any better, and it does!

Terrible acting, plot, and direction though.

Yeah, I go through one a year or so.. But because of the life-time warranty I just deliver them when one of the speakers falls off or the contact goes out. It used to on the older models, that's been sorted out. Sucks that this set is the most abused (one of the speaker covers are missing) and I don't have any idea where the reciept is. Soon as I find it I'm gonna go down there anyway, last time they just gave me a new set, no questions asked.

Less a purchase and more what I got for my birthday....

You like the 85% chocolate, Scaff? Obviously being you said Yummy very dark chocolate. I'm not a fan of anything north of 60% myself. The plus side of the 85 - you don't eat much in a sitting.

I'm exactly the other way around, don't much care for chocolate that is below 60% and white chocolate is just nasty.

The other advantage of 85% stuff is that the kids don't steal it.

I've started to lean towards dark chocolate now. Bournville is awesome, although those 80% and above chocolates look worth a go. I think it's a taste you develop as you get older.

Bournville? - that's noob dark chocolate, it's only 36%!

Have to agree with that (but you could have been a bit more subtle :))

This is a fine starting dark chocolate

And you can pick it up in just about any supermarket, give it a go.

Nice t-shirt too Scaff. Have you seen the motoring ones on Scarlet Fog? I'd seen them advertised in magazines like Octane and Classic & Sports Car, they have some great designs (though not many yet). I'm thinking of getting the Escort Mk2 one in yellow. Or the Stratos.

When I have money that is.

You may then want to take a look at Slick Attire (used to be N138 - the guys who did the 'James Allen is a ****' t-shirts), they do some great stuff, well priced as well.

The N138 site is also still worth a look

as is the Pistonheads shop

Not really a picture of my latest purchase, but I bought some tickets;

evans1ok5.jpg

Lee Evans live! Me and a mate managed to get tickets for a long sold out tour only 2 hours before the show by randomly ringing up the box office! So we got some tickets, which we were happy about, but when we got there and found out there were in the middle, 7 rows from the front, we were ecstatic.

An amazing night out, he was very funny and the atmosphere was astonishing.

Not exactly new. But yeah. Here it is in the flesh, Excuse the shakiness of the shot. Apparently my moms camera does not have image stabilization.

I am absolutely loving the bike. Yesterday I was on a ride with my friend and this mountain bike came blazing past us. And I looked over and my friend and went, "I'm gonna catch him" 30 seconds later I was right behind him doing 25 and then rode past him at about 30. I'm so glad it has disc brakes. Once it gets going it really doesn't want to stop.

EDIT: The tires make the most amazing noise at high speeds. And I love it.

Its called holding the camera right and even holding it to your chest at times when you are shaky. I don't need any half-arsed image stabilization.

Though it is a nice looking bike.👍

You can also hold the button down half way to let it focus, then press it the rest of the way down to take the shot. Nice bike though. 30mph on a single-speed? Must have a good gear ratio; pushing it, I've gotten my BMX bike up to about 26 - proven both with a speedometer I used to have and a road-side traffic readout. I want to get a mountain bike one of these days though, with suspension and discs front-&-rear.

Anywho, I just got Brisingr today. I can't wait to get cracking on it.

I was holding it ridiculously steady but it still came out shaky in both shots.

Oh well. I'll use my dads next time I get something interesting. Hers just sucks.

What sorta light did you take it in? It seems pretty bright which is a bit odd for it to blur because the shutter speed only needed to be quick...

Ambient light coming from outside I believe. It sits in the garage and I don't think I had the lights on when I took it.
bergauk: What make/model is it? Looks really cool.

It is a Haro, Model is the Railer SS.
