I've also been looking into getting the Eye. I might just have to run to Wal*Mart.
The Web site still has it for $65, so check your store this week if you do.

I'm also not sure if it was just a local thing as they had just gotten a ton of the new 80GB PS3s in and didn't have any room inside the locked case for it. This was the first time it was sitting on the shelf next to Singstar and Buzz and the first time it was marked down. I don't know if the two were related or not. All I know is that my local Wal*Mart distrusts gamers to not steal and rarely is anything over $30 outside the locked cases. Although they did get better about blu-ray when their case got to be too small. New and popular titles are still locked up though. I had to wait 15 minutes to find somene who could get me Iron Man.

I took a picture but forgot to bring it with me to work, so I will just link images.

Iron Man on Blu-Ray. I haven't looked at the special features yet.

Rudy - Special Edition DVD. It was in the $5 bin at Wal*Mart. Most likely the greatest sports movie ever. Definitely the greatest football movie ever.

Eye of Judgment/Playstation Eye pack. I just wanted the Playstation Eye, but Wal*Mart had the whole set marked down to $29.99, $10 cheaper than the camera by itself. I may sell the game.

I was just at Target today and they had the Eye on clearance for $17.22.

Iron Man on BR is awesome, by the way. :)

I checked and had the same result, although...

...apparently I'll try Target instead.

Regardless of where I get it, thanks for the heads up, guys. 👍

All Targets do clearance differently. Whats on clearance at the store I work at is completely different from whats on clearance at the one 3 miles down the road from us. He just got lucky.

Wow. Well, I have a friend who just bought the last MGS4 bundle in town and when I told him the price on that he said he was going to get it too so that we can play Eye of Judgment. Guess I won't be selling the game.

Yes, yes it is.

And Rudy is just awesome. Now I want the sequel, you know the one where he graduates from Notre Dame only to get sucked into a dimensional rift and lands in Middle Earth where he is mistaken as a hobbit, due to his size, and can only find a job as a gardener until his master leads him off on an adventure.

2008 Arbor A-Frame 154

After talking with my Dad, we worked out a deal. I used his credit card and will pay him back in cash next time I see him. (Thursday) The order got marked by their fraud management system.. :ouch: Hopefully the order will go through. It hasn't yet been processed. I'll be pretty damn angry if it doesn't get processed and they sell out.

But I'm still hoping it will go through. After dealing with a battered and abused Liquid Venture 144 for the past seven years, I think I deserve something a little more classy. I was looking at various Forum and Burton boards, and found an Arbor Element and then went bargain hunting. I was looking for an arbor element under 350 dollars, and instead went two or three better. :D

I can't wait to ride this thing.

Bought me two of these CFL that simulate daylight for my ceiling fan. They throw off a ton of light and I love them, I think I'm going to go and finish off my room and bathroom with them.

Just don't use them in the garage. CFL's and cold don't get along.

Speaking of which, I need to buy some incandescent lamps for my garage.

We've had CFL's in our garage for a couple of years and they are just fine. Although our garage is fully insulated with an optional furnace and A/C unit (which we rarely use). Even when it's really cold outside it's not bad in the garage.

Hopefully my new insulation and drywall will help then. No heater out there, but I definitely wouldn't say no to one some day.

Apparently you are correct. I just returned from Target and they don't even have a spot for and Eye and Wal*Mart still had them listed at $40.

I did buy my wife a Spinach & Goat Cheese Pizza. :yuck:

I couldn't afford a fart can if I did want one! I love the stock exhaust anyway, but it will probably have a cat-back one day.

Thank you. :) I'm extremely happy to not be driving something so generic anymore ('99 Grand Am GT). And that third pedal...:dopey:

My buddy just installed a Pacesetter Catback on his Ford Probe GT and it sounds decent.

As far as exhaust goes, 2.5" catback, highflow cat (or delete), and 2.25" from there forward. That is, unless you plan on forced induction/nitrous.

I agree on the Grand Am comment. I swear everyone has one.

Oh yeah, and the third pedal. :)

Not these, but kinda close.

Hey, those on the the picture I have. They change color in the warm.(from black to black pearl green)I think.
I also have different ones similar to those but in green.

VIPERGTSR01 informed me of a Driving Force GT + Gran Turismo 5: Prologue bundle for $135AU (DFGT is $178AU when bought separately). My Driving Foce Pro kept getting problems with its pedals, so it made this super-cheap bundle even more worth it. I already have GT5P, so I'll be sending that to our friend Blake this week.

$56!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That had better be a really good bulb. I think that even if it actually did last the 9 years is says it will that you wouldn't get your money back on those things.

Quick question on that though: Is it specifically designed for ceiling fans? My light cover has trouble fitting over normal bulbs, causing them to heat up and go out easily. Also, does it require a warm-up period when you first turn it on to get up to full brightness? I have had issues with some CFLs doing that.

So far CFLs have not impressed me and I went back to my Reveal bulbs.

It didn't cost $56. Over the life of the lamp, it'll save up to $56, depending on you kilowatt hour rate.

Try running a ComCheck on a commercial building and see how fast your attitude changes.

Thanks to those blesses little energy sippers (albeit still not as good as LED, but the tech isn't there yet), one of my hotels went from 22% worse than code to 6% better than.

No they aren't designed for ceiling fans but they were the same size as the normals ones I had in there to begin with. There is a warm up period as well.

They're practically giving away energy efficient bulbs here in the UK. My local supermarket sells Phillips ones at 3 for a £1!

Doh! I couldn't read the fine print on my work monitor.

I just don't feel like I get the same light I get from regular bulbs. And as I have been using Reveal bulbs for a while I can see a difference between the two when running both. But I haven't tried the daylight ones yet, so maybe that will make a difference.

That's part of my issue is that I have fancy fixtures on my ceiling fans. I guess that is the result of having a wife.

And that warm up period is mildly annoying, especially when I get up and turn the lights on, think it looks dim, and then come out of the shower and notice it is suddenly brighter. When it first happened I thought something was wrong with my eyes.
