Apparently you are correct. I just returned from Target and they don't even have a spot for and Eye and Wal*Mart still had them listed at $40.

I did buy my wife a Spinach & Goat Cheese Pizza. :yuck:

Haha, I mean I do work there. And that pizza sounds disgusting.

I bought this shirt the other day too.

They're practically giving away energy efficient bulbs here in the UK. My local supermarket sells Phillips ones at 3 for a £1!

They were giving them away at one point! I know that quite a few energy companies are now giving away 'energy saving' multi plug sockets. They're great because they turn off all of your electrical items using the power button on your TV remote. It's very cool when you have one linked up to a lamp. :D

No it means we are getting lazier every day.

That must have cost you a pretty penny there. Its a nice computer, but i have had bad experiences with toshiba's because they tend to be very warm on your lap, and thats not a good thing (especially for a guy)

*ultimate portable design machine.

Bought me two of these CFL that simulate daylight for my ceiling fan. They throw off a ton of light and I love them, I think I'm going to go and finish off my room and bathroom with them.

Daylights are terrible. They're so cold. Better than Soft White, though. Those are too warm. Brilliant White is the best.

Other than screen size and Wacom practicality, there isn't anything this computer can't do on this software that a desktop would. I've got room for more RAM if I need to pick things up too. She's a speeding bullet.

Only downfall for now is that the wireless card isn't compatible with my home router. Wired internet FTL.

It's a tablet? It doesn't look like it. Or you mean because the screen size is more the size of the Wacom it's easier to draw on?

I'd rather get a tablet pc than use a wacom... just too unnatural of a feeling.

Hey, I can use everything too but a workstation would get things done a lot faster. :)

Not a tablet. I meant a Wacom would be impractical as hooking one up with a permanent desktop setup makes more sense than doing so with a laptop every time you needed to use one.

These days yes, it's impractical, but not to long ago the opposite would've been true because Desktops still had more performance. Also, I'd still rather have a tablet then lugging around a separate Wacom pad. There's still setup needed with a wacom and you can't draw on it while being mobile.

This'll do fine until I actually need a Wacom. I still haven't ever used one (although my school's got a bunch of 'em, all sizes and types), and they're mainly used for presentation renderings anyhow, which isn't what I need to be focusing on at this point. I'd love to get my hands on one, and if I had a couple grand to spend it would be on the shopping list for sure.

Ding ding ding! Tell him what he's won, Johnny! :dopey:
I may have had to take a minute out of my busy day to find the SF, CA tax rate, but it was sooo worth it for that kick ass invisible prize. :D

My first gen shuffle pooped out on me so here is my latest purchase. It was either this or a 16gb nano

It didn't cost $56. Over the life of the lamp, it'll save up to $56, depending on you kilowatt hour rate.
Try running a ComCheck on a commercial building and see how fast your attitude changes.

Thanks to those blesses little energy sippers (albeit still not as good as LED, but the tech isn't there yet), one of my hotels went from 22% worse than code to 6% better than.

What is your job BTW?
