Interesting. I love clicky switches (noise and all), despite my daily driver having MX Brown.

I just find them too irritating and noisy. If I am wearing headphones, then it is not a big deal, except for anyone around that can hear them. If I am not wearing headphones, then I always notice how noisy they are. There is also not really any way to make them quieter either. It is tactiles or linear only for me.

I was going to suggest the O-ring mod but had to remind myself that's more for dampening the sound of bottoming out. You could try messing around with the inner slider, but that's way more trouble than it's worth

You mess around with Logi's Romer switches at all? I was really considering the G915 but it isn't cheap, and at its price I might as well pick up the Das 4 Pro with blank caps that I've been eyeing for about...three years now.

My thing:

Guilty Gear ~Strive~ on PS5. I need it. Give me that open beta!

Logitech low profile clickys have a significantly less deep tone to the click than the MX Blues. They are quieter overall but a tad more harsh. I was admittedly kind of disappointed when I went from an original K70 to a G915, since the actuation point isn't quite where the click is; but that mainly manifests in the wider keys.

That would not fix the click problem. The click is just too loud. I just cannot stand it any longer; I have become more sensitive to sounds.

I had a Logitech board for a very brief period, but it had MX Blue switches. I only bought it because it was on sale for a very good price. I quickly sold it because I hated the feel of the space bar.

Now that I am used to a 60% keyboard, both with this new one and the one before it, I cannot see myself going back to a tenkeyless or full size. A 60% keyboard is just more comfortable to use due to the reduced width. The only sizes I can maybe see myself going with is an 1800 for work and maybe a 75% at home.

Realizing I don't have a good lighter I bought a proper Zippo. Even if you don't smoke I think its good to have a quality lighter.

(I know you are not supposed to light a cigar with a zippo, I wont use it on the expensive tasty ones. It really does not mess with the taste that much though. )

Parked my bike on soft earth like a noob and it sank a bit before toppling over. Footpeg snapped clean off leaving me missing a rather crucial part.

I did consider some steel pegs but since aluminium are cheaper, and I’m unlikely to make the same mistake again, I’ve gone with the OEM set.

Just got back from GameStop. I needed a new controller since the old one was suffering from terminal drift. Nothing fancy, just a wired controller. My only color options were green and purple.

I also picked up my usual assortment of comics and a new RiffTrax (all digital.)

New music. Igor by Tyler, the Creator, and Ode to Joy by Wilco are both physical CDs bought at Easy Street Records in West Seattle.
New Self Old Ways by La Fonda (local band from Seattle), God I’m Such a Mess by Cry Club (described as a queer bubblegum punk duo (and they’re every bit as awesome as that sounds)), and Lonely Daze by Senseless Optimism, a single she released for all the single people on Valentine’s Day. The last three are digital from Bandcamp.

Fancy new toothbrush with an app that tells me how bad I'm brushing my teeth.
The higher-end ones have much more in-depth telemetry (including individual tooth monitoring) but I couldn't justify spending more for that.

PowerA seems to be the controller of the moment, mine arrived yesterday

I never knew door locks were so expensive.

Decided to buy a Bluetooth mechanical keyboard - A Keychron K8. Considering I'm diving further into my design degree, it's only appropriate that I lock down the hardware that I will be using. When Apple comes out with the M1X MacBook, I'll be getting that to compliment my PC.

I see “THQ” in the bottom right corner. Is that the same THQ Nordic who make the incredibly fun Wreckfest game?
No, THQnordic was a result of a parent company buying out the THQ trademark back in 2014. THQ was often known in the 2000s for either publishing licensed video games or random racing games like that one I've shown. They ran into issues going into the start of the 2010s and went bankrupt.

However, a lot of the games THQ had under their belt were childhood favorites of mine.
