Did you have to get out of the passenger side?

I did not. That picture makes it look like I am much closer to the wall than I actually am. I have a good 6" to 8" of space that I could get closer and not be a huge issue.

EDIT: I will grab a picture to show the space I have.

That thing in front of the ladder is a gas power reel mower. It also has a Honda motor and is a monster when mowing.

Picked up a new bike rack, a Yakima FrontLoader, because A. I got sick of removing the front wheel to put my bike on the previous rack and B. I am getting a new bike with a front thru axel that won't work with my old one anyways without an adapter.

Finally got a UAV!

It's a DJI Mini 2 and it's pretty capable for it's smol size. Serious thing. =)
Got the flight permit and made first two flights. On first day it was wet, but the next day was good. =)

They trigger a warning to use payload mode and limit the height and speed. I guess it's logical as you will use them in tight places. The holes are big so be careful when grabbing the drone.

I know I just received a custom mechanical keyboard, but I bought another keyboard (Logitech K380) to try out at the office, along with a keypad (Microsoft Wireless Number Pad) for the office.

To go along with these, today I picked up a Logitech MX Master 3:

And a family portrait:

The MX Master 3 is a dramatic departure from what I have been using at work. I am switching from a Logitech G305. The G305 is smaller in every dimension and the Master 3 weighs not quite1.5 times as much. I use a Razer Viper Ultimate at home. The Master 3 is larger in both width and height, but slightly shorter in length; the Master 3 is just shy of double the weight of the RVU.

With the death of my current D&D character, the model has been retired. I spent all evening lovingly crafting Skuld the Goblin ranger here on Heroforge. It’s a 3D print file so I’ve only purchased a download essentially.

For my parent's place. This is probably the best security camera system in comparison to Ring. SD card support, no subscription and powered by ethernet.

Also a few more goodie :)

A software engineer that hires people at a firm told me that this book is really, really good. I had that conversation months and months ago, but I remembered it.

I hear these are top-notch, so I got the AAs and an extra pack of AAAs because my computer mouse eats batteries.

Arriving just today is a super audio CD containing 2 albums in one from Lynn Anderson, one of my favorite artists, and something I have been putting off on buying for a while now, but finally decided to get just recently. Ever since I found my moms old record of Listen to a Country Song by her, I just knew it had to be something good and upon listening it, I was not disappointed! She ended up being a new favorite artist of mine and unsurprisingly I wanted to hear more from her, which eventually led me to this. Price put me off for a while, but I finally jumped on it and here is what I received:

Bought many albums in recent years, but this I think also holds the record for the most expensive one I have bought yet. It is also the very first super audio cd I have ever bought too. Sadly I don't have anything to take full advantage of that SACD quality and doubt I ever will because from what I read, the devices that can do this are very expensive and no cheap solution exists. Fortunately this one has a CD layer so it can still be played on a traditional CD player, obviously won't be SACD quality, but that's alright. Maybe one day I'll get something that plays SACD's, but who knows.

Haven't listened to it yet, but I will pretty soon and I certainly look forward to it! :D Glad to finally have this!

Lots of goodies this past week. I grabbed my usual Silver Age Betty and Veronica, Hawkman, and Doom Patrol digital comics. Got a couple of Wonder Woman comics, too. One from the ‘50s, and one from last year. I’ve fallen a bit behind on the modern run, so I’m slowly catching up. Also grabbed some My Little Pony comics. They’re written by Jeremy Whitley, one of my favorite comics writers. I was a big fan of the five-issue Money Shot comic when it came out in “The Before Times” (2019). So I was surprised to learn five more issues came out and I never knew it. I got them as soon as I found out. It’s a hilarious premise. Aliens land on Earth and offer to let us join them. And then they realize how screwed up we are and withdraw the offer. So a scientist devises a way to go exploring in space, but it’s expensive. Her solution? Become porn stars. Seek out new worlds, discover new life, and **** it. They then sell subscriptions to their website where you can watch some truly out of this world porn. The comic itself isn’t porn, but it’s very sexy and fun and smart. The last comic I got is an Archies one-shot about the gang taking their band on the road. The cover is by the great Jaime Hernandez, co-creator with his brother Gilberto of the classic indie comic Love & Rockets. Jaime’s comic art was always heavily influenced by classic Archie artists like Dan Decarlo, so it’s full circle for him to be creating covers for Archie now. I got two new RiffTrax, Double Dragon and Fungicide and I just finished watching Phantom From Space, a live stream from The Mads, Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff. This one included guest Bill Corbett in a Q&A session afterwards. Finally I got the newest filter set from Hipstamatic, the San Diego Hipstapak. Seriously, if you have an iPhone, Hipstamatic is the photo app you need.

Last two weeks of comics purchases. America Chavez is a new mini-series, just five issues. It’s looking good so far.

Do you read these comics or is it a collection?
I read them but lately it seems like I’m buying them faster than I can read them. I’ve bought 5132 comics from ComiXology, and there are 1317 I haven’t read yet.

That's not a physical collection surely.
No, thankfully. It’s all digital comics from ComiXology. I prefer digital not only for not needing to find room to store the books, but because you can switch between reading page by page to panel by panel. It makes reading very easy, as well as letting you see the art in better detail. Also, it’s just a really good app. It’s never crashed on me and it’s easy to use. I’ve never had a single complaint.

Although I only know like 3 songs from her and only extremely familiar with one of them, I have been a fan of Pam Tillis for a long time now. "Maybe It Was Memphis" has been a favorite of mine for over a decade and it holds a very special place in my music library. I will admit, I am a bit biased towards the song because she references the Faulkner novel, and Faulkner just happens to be my last name. No idea if it's related to me in any way, but it's an interesting thing I certainly cannot ignore.

That said, I recently decided to look into her music a bit more and saw a good offer on a lot of 3 of her albums on eBay. So I took it and it finally arrived today! Here is what I received:

Put Yourself In My Place. Of course, given that "Maybe It Was Memphis" was my introduction to her, it's no surprise I went after the album it originated from. It was the reason I found this lot in the first place. Can't wait to hear what else is on it!

Sweethearts Dance. Another one that came from the lot. "Mi Vada Loca" is a song I have heard before, but I don't remember much about it and I don't think I have ever heard the others on the CD either. Should be interesting to rediscover this song again as well as see the rest of the CD.

All Of This Love. Now this an interesting one. Not only was it nice it was still unopened, but it's an HDCD! I think I recall seeing mentions of them while researching SACD's, but I have no memory of ever seeing one and I am pretty sure I don't own any. Fortunately unlike SACD's, I think software is all I need to take full advantage of it. How I will do this, I am not yet sure, but I certainly look forward to checking it out!

Quite pleased to have these added to my library and it's going to be exciting taking a closer look at her music! :D

I have no idea who most of the country artist you post are, @Sonygamer455, but I enjoy reading your posts about music. It’s nice to see someone’s passion for their hobby.

My entire collection of country music is Jonny Cash, and since I stream all of the metal/grunge/rock I mainly listen to, I can’t really talk it up as a purchase.

Well thank you! :)This comment certainly makes my day better!

Country music has been in my roots since I was a child and while I did stray away from it midway through my teen years, I eventually found my way back to it and it's my primary genre of choice now. Lately I have been relentlessly focusing on expanding my country music library as well as fixing what I already have and that's partially why I got those 3 CD's and some of the others. In fact, I have another CD coming sometime next week and I have a record from Canada that should be here by mid April and as soon as I get more money, I plan on buying even more. :mischievous:

I really and truly haven't done much lately that doesn't involve my music library.

Funny, I heard "Ring of Fire" just this morning. :P I don't have much from Johnny Cash, but he is someone I want to look into a bit further. I want the Box Set from 2003, but every time I see it, it's very expensive, otherwise I'd be buying it too.

I honestly don't really care for streaming services, I take great pride in actually owning my music, especially for physical media. I get why people like streaming, but it's just not for me.

As a teenager I was heavily invested in collecting physical music before MP3s were widespread. As I’ve moved countries a few times in my adult life I never pick the hobby back up.

I’d love to get a good record player and grab some of the albums I listen to frequently (Metallica, Slipknot, AIC, Audioslave, Pink Flyod, etc) for that visceral listening experience. Perhaps when the opportunity presents itself I might go down that path but right now it’s still a bit impractical as I mostly listen to music on the go.

Totally understandable.

I feel you there. Although I have a record player already, I lately have been wanting to get a good turntable to digitize my mothers records since she has a plethora of country songs I want in my library. Problem is the prices for them are a bit beyond my reach right now and my current one is not suited for it.

Funny enough, that record I mentioned earlier is one I got to replace the old scratched up one my mother has.
