So went to that place called Players Choice again like I do on vacation every year and had the most disappointing run I've had yet there. This being the only thing I got:

Glad to have the game, especially for the price being as low as it is because I always wanted it anyway and it's actually the first Xbox game I've bought physically! Saw two Gameboy games I considered, but ultimately didn't get them because I have other things I want to buy, but I am still pretty sad I didn't find more like I usually do every year. Who knows, maybe I'll find something even better soon. 🤷‍♂️

So I love Zootopia and after a few years of wanting to get this Revoltech Nick Wilde, I ended up buying not only him but also Judy. Had a bit of a buyer's remorse at first because I'm not really into figurines, but now that I have them in hand I'm very happy I got them. I did not expect them to look this good. [nb]I don't normally buy Superman comics, but this one is by Mark Russell, and he's one of the best writers in the business. I've also been looking forward to this Zatanna GN for a while now. It was solicited for last summer but was pulled at the last minute. Thankfully it's been resolicited and is out now.

Welp, not really my first adult purchase. But probably my most adult purchase.

Bought the house across the street... From where I currently live. I've been looking at the market for a while now. Opportunity came up. For the price compared to everything else around the area, it was a no-brainer. It is a significantly small home at about 750 square feet. House has been totally remodeled. Nice appliances that stay, along with washer and dryer. 2 bed, 1 bath. Plus, a two car garage for my one car. 😃

In the buying process now, but expect to be closed withing the next couple weeks.

A Phonesoap 3 phone sanitizer. At least I think that's what it is since it didn't come in a box.

A tiny ice cube tray for making tiny ice.

A pink, hand shaped, extendable fly swatter.

The coveted Woot! light-up pen. I'm taking this to work for the people that ask if they can borrow a pen.

A Samsung A12 cellphone. Best I can tell, this is new. It's currently charging so we can dig deeper.

A refurbished Netgear cable modem.

And finally...

An XBox Elite Series 2 controller. I'm told that there's a problem with the left stick's dead zone so if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Regarding the Elite controller, try registering it on Microsoft's website and ask for their help with the issue - you might even end up finding it's still under warranty.

My kid dug around and found that you can set the dead zone but it has to be done in each game individually instead of globally so he's got ot working for now.

If we needed to, I don't have the slightest idea how we'd go about producing proof of purchase since technically I didn't actually buy it.

Was it new? I have two of them and no issues with the dead zone. If you are using it on PC are you sure the Xbox Accessories app can't help you correct that globally?

I have no idea if it was new or not. We got it along with all that other stuff in a "bag of crap" from woot.

He's been using it so at a minimum it's good enough. Especially for $0.77 (one-thirteenth of $10).

Yeah I saw the post about Woot but wasn't sure if you could tell if it was a refurb or something. Shame it's not perfect because I love mine. Best feeling controllers I've ever had.

Oh yeah, forgot to add they are symmetrical. The right boot also has the shift pad for the aesthetics.
