MAPerformance 02 housing for my Evo 9.

I watched it once and found it a bit strange. Is it worth rewatching? I couldn’t seem to understand it.
One of my all time favourite anime. The Manga is better but that always seems to be the case no matter if it’s a book, comic or manga.

It depends on when you watched it, if you were quite young then I’d say give it a go now.

I was mid 20’s so it was a while back. I always enjoyed Ghibli stuff and loved Ghost in a Shell so that why I tried it.
I shall give it another try.

After buying and reading The Rose of Versailles in hardback, I decided it was time to finally tackle Sailor Moon. You know, the boom anime babes that make me think the wrong things? This is volume 1 of the "Eternal Edition". These are high quality extra large trade paperbacks printed on premium paper. They also have new cover art by artist/writer Naoko Takeuchi. It's sparkly.

I bet that Swift handles like a go kart. I test drove one many years ago and it’s lack of weight was very noticeable.
Absolutely, it's a little demon. Previous kwner handily upgraded to Bilstein shocks and wrapped some Kumho Ecsta sport tyres (forget the exact model) so it really grips.

Is it a commuter vehicle or are you using it for recreation? I bet it gets pretty good gas mileage too.

Mostly recreation. Weekends and the odd weekday blast. I work with my wife so we can use the family car (Renault Scenic) for commuting and picking up food for work etc.

Suzuki claim 42mpg, I'm sure it could do that quite easily if driven sensibly but I live in a part of the UK that has some excellent B roads around me so I may not quite reach 42mpg but it seems pretty good.

I’m getting ~43mpg on ethanol currently in a 1.5 Fit. It must be the most docile commute in the world.
However, the mountain roads here beg to be driven with gusto, and I bet that Swift could impart some mega grins on these roads. My little Honda is enjoyable if not fast on the mountains.

Enjoy!

That's a good all round rim IMO, I've got the rally version which I use all the time when using the H pattern shifter instead of my formula v2.5 rim.

Speaking of which I should probably add my latest purchase.

Everything in that picture except the TV stand, keyboard and mouse.

Lg C1 OLED.
Self built PC with i7 and 3070 card.
Track Racer TR-80.
Track Racer Gt seat.
CSL DD 8nm base.
Formula v2.5 rim (and above mentioned rim not pictured).
CSL load cell pedal set.
Clubsport shifter.

Already looking to upgrade the pedals, sigh. Also need a keyboard mount for the rig but I have some left over T nuts from the rig build so will probably make one myself.

It got out of hand quickly, about 5 months ago I was using a G923 on a fold up rig with an Xbox.
I have a very understanding wife.

@Shaun

Can you move the TV stand (the shelves) out of the way and still keep the TV in place?

If you do, you should really consider doing that - moving the whole set forward as close as possible to the TV. From my experience, it will greatly improve the immersion and car control.

I can by mounting the TV on the wall, it's on the to do list.
Just need to work out a neat way to keep the PC off the carpet which is pretty much unseen in that photo on the bottom shelf.

Not nearly as good as some of the other recent purchases but I needed a replacement for the lemon tree I had to remove for my garage extension so I thought I'd try something a little different this time. It should arrive in a week or two.

I always wanted to make a rig with a TV in front of it but I always play other games too on my ps5 so I’d just want it in the dedicated room.
Yeah understand that.
That's my dedicated room for it, to the right are my guitars and amps. An indoor mancave so to speak which I'm lucky enough to be able to do.

My Xbox is in the lounge for other gaming needs.

Drive on 4K finally arrived. @Terronium-12 did your copy arrive yet?

I never got around to pre-ordering it. So much has got in the way throughout the year, but I'm definitely grabbing a copy. :D

As a matter of fact, before something else pops up...

EDIT: Actually ordered this time. Now, to wait up to 10 days. Can't wait to see this movie again.

So this is an on-and-off-search, never-expected-to-actually-come-across-it type of purchase. It's the Aces at War 2019 artbook, which contains concept art from the Ace Combat series, and also goes over the entire canonical lore of Ace Combat up until the release of AC7. Typically the only listings I was able to find online had the book in Japanese, but I finally came across one in English.

And to think, I became a fan of this series basically by accident.

I just picked up Mostly Harmless and World Without End from a second hand book shop.

I also acquired some “premium” 7 Eleven polarised shades.

I’m looking at some WHAL clippers to order tomorrow - does anyone have any experience on WHAL products?

Before my wife decided that she didn't like cutting our hair, she used a Wahl (I assume that's what you meant instead of Walh, unless that's a knock-off) which worked well enough to buzz the top at 3/4" and the sides and back at 1/4".
