I wnet down to Barnes&Noble, and I got myself a copy of Higurashi; When they cry. Not a bad purchase. Especially considering it was the last one in stock.

Just showed up today. Already know I am going to love it from the 30 minutes I've put into it.

Oh my god! this is even more disturbing than the anime! My eyes!

Oh, and I nearly got In Odd we Trust, presumably by Dean Koontz, because that's what it said on the cover, despite the fact that it was in traditional manga format.

Emptied the money box today and to my suprise got almost a $k out of it!!!

Picked up 3 DVDs: Colin McRae: Rally Legand, Clarkson: Thriller and a 4 disc firefly set.
Guitar hero world tour

And ordered a Speedlight for my new Canon camera :D

Anime + Donald Duck = fail. Worst game ever. Also, the stupidest title ever.

Have you ever played any of the Kingdom Hearts games?

Final Fantasy meets Disney seems lame at first, but it actually came out pretty well. I enjoyed the first and still intend to pick up the second as well as this one.

Wow you = fail for your close mindedness as well as lack of knowledge for any of the games in that series. Even, I, who fails to get excited if no ones getting shot at, loves these games. Not specifically that one, but KH 1 and 2.

Fail Keef, fail.

Re: Chain of Memories is a redux of the GBA Chain of Memories, with additional content, 3d graphics, cinematics with voice acting, and other tweaks. It also means I now have the current entirety of Sora's story arc on a single console.

Sick of waiting for GT5, so finally got GT5:P. My 2 yr old son loves watching it... points and yells "CAA, CAA!" Translation: Car, car! Haha love it!

FURminator.

And yes, you must say it like Ahnold.
Please tell me that does something better than the $3 pet brush they sell in any pet store.

Following the link I see that Dremel now sells a Pet nail trimming model, which is about $10 cheaper than their standard cordless Dremel. The difference between the two models? The standard model is rechargable. With 4 AA batteries you will have paid the extra $10 in two months. I might get the standard model. It will be easier than attaching the small handheld attachment whenever my wife wants to trim the dog's nails.

According to the video (which is more than likely biased) and my boss (which presumably isn't), it's awesome. Even at the $60 they paid for the large model. They're bringing it back and the replacement will be here from Amazon tomorrow for $32. Brownie points for me!!! :P

No, that video doesn't even show anything. My uncle got a furminator and literally filled his entire backyard with Labrador hair. It's pretty astonishing what can come off of a dog. Furminator is worth it, dremel isn't.

17"? Good God, why get one that big? I'm guessing for the display resolution, but its not a Blu-Ray model...

If you aren't moving around a lot 17" is fine but when you do move it can be pretty annoying. I don't even want to know what it is like with a 21" laptop.

Really? Really? Jeez. I guess I'll have to try it.
You don’t have friends who rave about that game? Everybody I know who has it loves it. (Not that I particularly care, since I don’t play those kinds of games.)

Or you can spend a bit less on a smaller screen version and buy a secondary monitor for a couple hundred dollars. 22" Acers are down to $160 or so.

It will spend half its time on a desk in my bedroom and the other half wherever I need it. Its 17" because I wanted a laptop geared towards providing excellent multimedia services, which this model certainly delivers. With the lack of remote networks around my area, I doubt I'll be bringing it around with me when I go out often. And yes, it has no Blu-Ray, but only for the minute; I plan to put one in later. ;)

That's because it's a Dell. ;)

Dell make fairly solid laptops according to the majority of computer-savvy individuals out there. For me, Toshiba, Lenovo and Asus were too bland and too business-orientated, Sony were way overpriced, and Acer far too unreliable and cheaply-built. Thus, it was down to either a Dell or HP, both very reliable and excellent value for the purpose which they needed to fulfil.

I've had a 17" Inspiron for a few years now and it is outstanding.

Specs here. Not the best, and never was, but she does her job without complaining.

I've taken my laptop into work a few times and on trips both in the car and on the plane without any issues. And are we really so weak that a few extra pounds of hardware is going to make a difference? I certainly hope not.
