Really? That's a shame. For the record, gun metal black would look better on my car, but the style is where it's at. :)
Something about wanting a vehicle that can actually be driven through more than 3" of snow. I wasn't really listening because I was already looking at Edmunds, Consumer Reports and Kelley Blue Book.

 I hear ya!

Sounds awesome. 👍

Thank you. ....And luck has nothing to do with it :sly:

Wait I just realised it's a 25Quattro. That's amazing.

Correct. It is an S4 25quattro. The rarity of this model was a deciding factor for me. I really like the RS4ish front clip and interior trim.

So I suppose that's the V8 and not the super-6? Sounds...like a GTO. Good, but kinda awkward on an import, know what I mean? Maybe you should try to find an exhaust that gives it a more upper-class, "euro" sound, or whatever, instead of the Appalachian American growl.

It's the 4.2 V8.

The clip really doesn't give you a complete impression of the way the car sounds. There is definately a technical quad cam, valve ticking symphony of mechanical noise overlayed onto the Americana V8. From the driver's seat, it's very quiet. But rev it in a tunnel, and you can definately tell it apart from a pushrod motor.

Did you know that they mount the timing chains on the BACK of this motor, so it would fit in the engine bay? I swear I can hear it through the firewall.

And almost all the exhausts I've heard on the market make it sound even more like a Camaro. Except without the affordable prices.

What are Audis supposed to sound like, anyway? Does Audi have a certain "sound"?

An inline 5, I'd imagine.

Although the trademark sound I associate most with the old turbo S4 is the dentist drill noise they make when the turbos are about to go

Beautiful car, by the way! 👍

I can only imagine the sound, the ride, and feel of that car. Must be amazing!

Usually like a VW wrapped in money.

Still, an excellent purchase! For some reason when you referenced the Audi in another post, I was thinking of it just being a Quattro Wagon.

Wow. I feel another head explosion coming on.

Nice one there Azuremen :sly:

Heres yesterday's purchase on the car. My beloved Nikon is with someone else and i cant even find a little point and shoot around the house. So heres a blackberry pic.

18's still look so tiny :indiff: Now all i need is to find a right size cap with an acura logo on it.

*a drop is on next week's to-do-list

I can't really follow up the awesome car purchases but I bought some stuff for my car, I've already use it which is why the towel is dirty.

- A huge microfibre towel
- California water blade
- ICE Detailer spray

I figured now that the risk of snow is past I can wash my car.

I'm going to do a write up in the car detail thread.

Are your tires the correct size for the car?

What was your stock size and the size you have now?

Finally got home and got the M1 Abrams knob installed. Its such a difference...Shorter, smoother, more solid feeling shifts. Makes me want to try out their short shifter and bushing kits too. But anyway, here are before and after pictures of first gear and reverse.

New guitar to complliment my new bass. (and i wrecked my old beginner strat yamaha, unintentionally i might add)

Exactly. Once you drop it, the wheel arches will be a lot fuller and the wheels will appear visually bigger.
I personally prefer to have the drop first and then then wheels (despite the fact that I'm doing theopposite with my E46 now...)

And yes, take some decent pics we we can really see how they go on your car. 👍

Is that one weight balanced?

PS: you should get rif of all that weight in change. Those coins alone are making your car slower. :dopey:

Stocks were 235/45/17. Now they are 235/40/18. Bigger wheel, thinner sidewall, overall same wheel size.

Random question, do you guys save up for those items?

Dont know about others, but saving is the only way i could afford things :indiff:

I can only hope :dopey:

In most cases anything more than movies or games must be saved up for, but there is the occasional person on here who doesn't need to.

Yup, 460 grams, which is basically 1 pound. I forgot to mention that it isn't new, I don't know if I could bring myself to pay $100+shipping. This was $70 shipped from Whocares05050 from 8thCivic.com. 👍

And that money really does get used up in the drive-thrus. I almost always give exact change. I was just lazy the last couple of times. I'd take it in to have the car looking a bit cleaner, but then it all just sits on my dresser.

This about sums up the first outing:
*snip*
Good stuff, indeed!👍
It was great watching my little bro play :D And it's why they have to learn on a school yard first, walls keep the ball on the pitch and tarmac makes them learn not to fall on the floor so much :dopey:

Young kids in Portugal must always play on grass pitches in that case.

You guys played against Channing Crowder?
Not against, with. And no. Obviously. :)

No walls outside and to make it to the tarmac/parking lot, they'd have to go through the tennis courts and hockey arena.
