A set of these:
city.jpg

They are Höen LED bulbs to go into my city lights. They are supposed to be for a Porsche 997 but it's just a 194 bulb so I imagine it will fit. If not I'll send them back.

Well it's been a while since I posted here.

ASUS N71Vn-A1($1,249):

It's a real nice laptop since it has a quad cpu and a Nvidia 240M gpu.

Can we get before/after shots if they work?

Not my purchase, but an 18yr-old friend of mine just recieved her major Christmas present for 2009: A 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead. Lucky.

And that's just stupid...But if you're into the whole "marrying for money" thing, go get her.

Its Ridge Racer. RIIIIIIDGEEE RAACEEER!!!!!

Picked it up for $10 at a local games shop. Its a shame that it got so much negativity for being related to the Sony E3 press showing. It is probably the best game in the series, perhaps finally even better than R4. I'm a bit angry that the music is awful and you have to pay for DLC to make it not so, however.

Bought some CD's at Borders today...

Borders selection today was kind of abysmal... But I plan to take a trip into the city in a week or so and go on a spending spree which includes a stop at Rasputin. Which is one of the best music stores I've been too.. Has everything... Better selection then Amazon.

Although I've wanted to buy a laptop for some time, I never got around to doing so because all of those that I've ever used did not have a numeric keypad. Because of what I have been used to doing all of my life, I really can't use any device that does not have a numeric keypad.

I realize that the one that you've bought has a powerful processor, and a very good graphic cards, but from the image that you've provided, it also seems to have a numeric keypad. Does this particular Asus model actually have a numeric keypad? Or am I just imagining things?

It does. It is in flash but these are the best quality images I could get.

Here is the product page if you don't believe me:

EDIT: There is a 16" version with blu-ray but personally I like the larger size of the 17.3".

Because that's just what an 18 year old girl needs; a gigantic land barge that she can reverse into someone's car.

Anyways;

Hehe... Just used my $50 iTunes card even though I will likely buy hard copies of these at some point so I can actually own them.

I'm pretty please with what I got for $50

Sadly.. iTunes didn't have what I wanted to buy.. Curse hard to find foreign bands.

My purchases (bought with Christmas money):

Dude, if you still have time, swap that for a Canon SD1200IS (or 780IS), or any of the Panasonic Lumix cameras.
I appear to have failed to mention it needs to be under $100 as well. We do have a baby due in 9 weeks. She is perfectly happy with it, which is all that matters.

Rasputin AND Streetlight Records are very good stores. They have an awesome selection, but a really confusing layout.

My cousin has been stuck on Katt Williams forever now, and I've been meaning to show him stand up that's actually funny.

I think I've seen Mr. Chappelle cruising around before. Hmm.

Anyways, after a fun little dorifto session in the snow, and almost getting stuck in a couple pathetic situations, I decided to order these:

co_extrmwincont_ci2_l.jpg

A set of Continental ExtremeWinterContact snow tires. I'll need them. They're $60 a set cheaper than WS60s, and that sounds like a deal to me. At this point I'm pretty convinced that any snow tire is going to perform well above my expectations, so I'm fine with lesser ratings than the class leader.

My most recent purchase:
HPI Nitro RS4 with Nissan 350Z body

Bought it used from a friend for $75 last week, which included starting/running gear. Gonna have to get some better pics sometime. It is FAST, around 50+ mph

Since I now have many sleepless night due to the new addition to the family, I picked this up.... awesome game!

Let me know how they are, I was considering those but no one had them yet because they were so new.

Bought two tickets to the avatar movie with a friend of mine and it was great. I also bought some coaxial sound cables to see if I can get 5.1 sound and it did not work. It's not even worth the drive to just get store credit from bestbuy. If I can't get the onboard sound to work in 5.1 then I'm gonna have to buy a usb sound card.

Care to explain what you're trying to get working?

Its for uni.

I want a big screen because I'm doing photography, I want enough power because I'm doing photography and I want the creature comforts - HDTV (which it doesn't have - sacrificed it for a BR ROM and $600....which I'll spend on a TV tuner and a tablet), BluRay, HD screen, good gaming capabilities etc. Its basically, as you said, a portable computer, because the way my accomodation works out (not staying at home), I have to clear out all my stuff at the end of each term (ranging from 6-8 weeks a pop) and if you think I'm lugging a desktop + monitor + peripherals home, or make several journeys (5 hours each way), ...and then back again 2 weeks later, your crazy.
