Why would you do that Andrew? It's a horrible looking phone. lol

My friend and his sister, and my sister and I were in line at best buy for 9 and 1/2 hours, and overall, i'd say it was pretty fun experience. I do wish I had brought more things though. I ended up bringing my ipod and a 12 pack of mountain dew, which were both short lived because I never had time to listen to my ipod, and I ended up drinking 7 of the mountain dews :D. Most of the first 7 and 1/2 hours were spent alternating between who walks to wal-mart, mostly because I kept having to go to the bathroom. The last two hours got a bit crazy when everyone decided to crowd up into an actual line and put their stuff away.

Having got there somewhat early, we were able to be part of the first 50-100 people. Amazingly, once in the store, we quickly found what we were looking for (we both wanted the same external) and were able to check out before most of the people even found their item.

I definately wouldn't mind doing this again next year, though I would like to get there around Wednesday night. I would like to bring a bike and a soccer ball though, considering I saw people with satellite's hooked up to their car, skateboards, bikes, tents, and god knows how many more things to help pass the time.

If anybody ever debates to wait for black Friday sales I say do it. Hell, I even got to call my friends hitleresque boyfriend a jackass

This was on sale for $89.99 at Best Buy today, pretty cool since it's designed by Pininfarina.

Were you at the San Jose one because that sounds exactly like our experience last night/this morning. It was really cold too it was about 40F constantly since 1AM.

This is what I got out of waiting so long and i'm glad we got one. I was originally wanting a 20" LG and they saw this 22 on sale for Black Friday and it's awesome. Looks so much better than the RCA 20" I had both size and resolution.

It was $350 normally $600. It's not the only thing we got that's what I got out of it. My parents got some other stuff but that's what I was there for. It looks small in the picture but for the size of my room and what TV I used to have it's awesome.

No it's 720p though and it's my first time seeing my games in that and it looks godly... to me.

I needed a workhorse to keep the miles off the Mini and be able to fill with Scout stuff. the criteria were it has too have a tow bar, be cheap, reliable and preferably an estate. Thus I am now the owner of a Volvo 940 GLE:

It's in a bit of a state cosmetically, but all the mechanicals work, so I don't care. £450, but untaxed, so it works out at £630 once it is taxed.

There's something cool about big Vulvos. It's good to know you can fit alot in them and still go quite quickly.

Early Christmas for me again! Last year, it was a 2007 Mazda 3. This year, it's a PS3, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and F1 Championship Edition. That thing on the right is an indoor/outdoor weather station, complete with humidity and barometric pressure readings. Me dances :D.

What, no Warhawk? Rock Band? CoD4? Still, nice PS3!

Roo, you should've bought a 240. They're flawless win.

Spending $550 for the stuff I got is quite enough for one day. I think I'll wait for another couple paychecks before buying more...

This post is brought to you by the PS3 browser. How inefficient :D.

Hanns·G HG-281DPB Black 28" 3ms Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built in Speakers

With VGA and HDMI, I have my computer and PS3 hooked up. I'll be getting a HDMI switch soon to make switching between the PC and the PS3 easier. At a full resolution of 1920x1200, this monitor looks fantastic. The only major complaint the is the LCD "X" that can be seen during darker sections of game play. This shouldn't surprise me as every LCD monitor I've owned seem to have this.

As a precursor to the monitor, I built a new gaming rig:

*Intel E6850 Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHZ 4mb Cache, 1333FSB
*2gb OCZ Reaper Ram, @1106ghz stable.
*150gb Raptor Drive
*eVGA 680i Mobo (supports 3 PCI-E 16x graphics cars :embarrassed:), 1333FSB supported.
*Dual BFG OC 8800GTX 768mb Graphics cards in SLI
*1000w OZ PSU, support for up to 72 amps of delivered power!!!
*Vista Ultimate (DirectX 10 fully supported)

Looks like you'll have to sell your Volvo and get a Renault.
