And to go with my new monitor, I got a computer. Thread coming soon. I got a sweet ass deal on a sparkle 1250w psu and gtx 480. Since it's 88-91% efficient I don't think I'll need another power supply for the rest of my life. It was cheaper to get that deal than something more sensible. -$235 combo deal will do that.

Thank goodness for the rest of the -$80 combo discounts. Now I just gotta pray to god that Adobe supports the 480gtx and that it eats up Premiere Pro like there's no tomorrow.

You're contributing to global warming with that GTX480...

Though it'd be awesome for gaming...if you hadn't gone and brought an IPS panel.

The time delay isn't so bad. I'll be doing a lot of cuda crunching. And sweating.

Does food at a korean restaurant count?

Hopefully :D This will be the first computer I've built, and I really really hope when I press the power button it'll turn on and not explode in a giant plume of smoke

Just take your time. Rushing through it will only guarantee something goes wrong. I've built and re-built plenty in my time, and something that seems so insignificant will turn out to be an issue.

I’ve just ordered a pack of Sugru. If you haven’t heard of it before it’s mouldable silicone rubber that cures on exposure to air that can be used to fix and hack just about anything.

Examples to show what it can do:

The silicon thing looks interesting. need to try that out.

So i mounted two of those today:

225/45ZR17 91Y Asymetric P Zero

Nero's don't exist anymore, but this are a lot better, just screaming like a little *****. But only rode like 20km with them, so i hope this is because they are still new.

On the back i still got those of last year

P Zero Nero

If you want a very grippy track race / street legal pneu this is it. (they still have street legal "slicks" but the duralbility is low + they are extremly expensive)

Must buy this! I'll be checking magazine stands tomorrow.
Got this a few weeks back, :tup:Evo Subscription Collector's Edition cover :sly:

Funny, I paid just over half that for Dunlop Star Specs, which have only a 20 lower UTGQ and are a whole class better. And they're about the only tire used by the top SCCA guys.

Got an aftermarket Ford/Mercury Factory Integration Adapter for my Ford Escort: $40

Then the tool needed for removal of the stock panel: $5

I wish this stuff would be cheaper but that's only because there is only one company that makes these panels. At least I will be able to listen to some good quality music from my ipod now. I plan on getting some better speakers during the summer and I can't wait for that.
