Also, earlier today I finally joined the gym next door to my condo.

I have ordered my new bike. It should arrive tommorow.
Its a gt tempest 2.0

The picture doesn't do the bike justice. I'm getting the black and green one. It looks evil and awsome. I love it. :)

Sweet mate, I would have gone for that colour too.

But Famine's Used Car Emporium and Doggie Day Spa could be a great business venture. 💡

Love the garage door, too!

So what does that do? Catch metal particles in your oil?

Exactly, and keep them out of the mechanical bits in the tranny. I also ordered two quarts of Amsoil MTF earlier. Changing out the factory fluid tends to do all sorts of good things for these cars, and a friend suggested getting the magnetic plug as well.

Isn't there a stronger magnet you can run against the oil pan so that you "sweep" the particles towards the plug?

So the scope can smack you in the eye?

I'm kinda PO'd because Dell delayed my monitor until July 7th. So now I have a computer sitting idle that I spent all day building. They said they were in stock when I bought it too, so wtf. All I know is they'd better send me a brand new one and not someone else's RMA'd defect panel.

On that note, here is what Chuck the UPS Guy gave to me today:

Here's the thread.

Sucks about your BO on the monitor, but can't wait to see some runs with this machine!

Oh and, nice Gym purchase. Comes complete with meat heads I see...

I suppose that's possible, but I'm changing out the fluid and that'll take the majority of any particles with it, anything else floating around will eventually make its way toward that magnet and build up on it. Its just some cheap, extra peace of mind.

Naw man look how quiet it is. There are like a few hardcore guys that come in but the gym is freaking huge and it's never jam packed all at once. At least not when I go. All the classes and stuff are free too, which is cool. The only thing you gotta pay extra for is to use pilates reformers. The 24h fitness I used to go to was always so crowded and the equipment was all squeezed onto this tiny 2nd floor of this big building. It's like the first floor was all giant locker rooms and a pool and the 2nd floor was so small because a huge chunk is cut out to make a pretty (neat looking if you're from 1991) atrium. This place is owned by the 2 families of people that work there, so that also makes it pretty cool. Hopefully I go enough to make friends with them.

Besides, meatheads in gyms are a good sign. Nothing worse than Bally's or Curves, which has perpetually fat women, or 24H fitness which has everyone except for meatheads, with a bunch of teens and bros all over the free weights. Actually, I guess there is something worse: the lunk alarm.

Freeview HD box - cheapest one I could get on the spur of the moment, but it works well and it will let me watch the World Cup in HD :D I plan on buying a better one at some point, with an HDD etc., and this one will probably end up at my Mum's house, but for the time being, it will do nicely!

Nice dude! Meatheads don't bother me, they make great spotters. Hey, I mean, what the heck....my group of guys are known as the grunt bunch. haha

I love computers! Yeah, I said I love computers, you wanna fight about it?

Bit of a big purchase here and I haven't even decided on a GPU yet; I'm torn between the 5830 and 5850. I still have a 4870 that handles everything I've thrown at it with sheer ease, I may just pick up a 4890 and use that for the time being.

(I may or may not purchase this, I have a considerably new Prolimatech Megahalem that's more then compatible)

Since my Zune decided to be a paper weight I bought this.

Sandisk Sansa Clip+ 8GB

I also got a 16GB MicroSDHC card to along with it.

[blahblahblah]

Does the 4890 do DirectX11? Make sure your gfx card does, whatever you get.

Also, if you have the prolimatech, don't get the Tuniq tower. Also, save the money from Ultimate and just get Pro. The only difference is BitLocker and Multi-language support which is kind of dumb. The difference in money you save is enough to get you your fresh VG card.

Looks like everyone here is peer-pressuring everyone else to blow their stacks on computer stuff.

Not that I can remember, I believe all the 4000-series cards support up to DX 10.1. I'll take the other suggestions to heart, as I haven't been up to date since Nehalem was released.

My bank account and credit cards say no. I can't even tell you the last time I played games on my current rig...

I bought it at Newegg. Why not from GameFly? Well, even though I had their service for over a year, they felt compelled to charge me full price ($59.99) when Newegg didn't ($56.99). Also, GF wanted shipping ($5.99) and Newegg didn't ($0.00). Nice company, GameFly. You can see why it wasn't a hard decision to cancel them.
I can only take guesses as to what happened here, but I have had Gamefly for years now and think I know what happened. A game that new will not be available to buy used unless you do it as a "Keep It," which is only available when you are currently renting the game. And I believe free shipping for members is only available on used purchases. The only other thing I can think of is that you were somehow logged out and didn't realize it.

I have had a few issues with Gamefly over the years as they appear to have problems keeping up with their growth. I can easily see why someone might have problems with them and want to cancel. The service needs tweaking a bit, but I stick with them because I love being able to play a through a game and then sending it back when I realize that I won't play it again.

For the gpu i would also consider a dx11 card if you don't wanna upgarde soon.

I have the same bluray (is it the burner??), complete upgraded all the household pc's to BR(except lap- notebooks). It's a must for Backup.

also have an 1366 socket cpu (920), they will rock your gaming und unraring life, but I see the 1366 probably dying. As quickly after the 1366 they throw out the 1156 and now at the computex some mainboard constructors shown mobo's for the whole new 1155 which is / was not yet presented by Intel.
But with the 930 you got a good one. Easy OC'able, when they get lame...

For Win7, did you consider buying a systembuilder version (cheaper, just be sure if you want x86 or x64, but you want x64!!)

Already did that a year ago. It will be a while before blow any kind of stack...thank you.

Although, I have been looking at the 6 core processors, new graphic's cards, and motherboards for a slight upgrade to my current system. :D

1366 is Intel's server socket, so it won't be going anywhere soon and will be good for workstation kind of stuff for a long time. That's the rationale behind my purchase anyway. I'll get a 6 core in the future should I ever need it.
