While it is, on occasion, louder than the new dog, at least it doesn't crap on my floor.

I love the series. How much was it for the box.

Congrats:tup:

$35USD = good deal if you don't have any of them already. :)

After watching them over the weekend, I realized just how much of Supremacy I forgot.

I've been waiting for this trilogy but some say we'll have one more Bourne movie in the future, if that's the case I'm going to wait for that.

I though the same thing with the Identity and Supremacy combo pack at Sam's Club a while back and figured now was as good a time as any.

I got this:

Western Digital MyBook 2TB Premium Edition

Plus two of these:

Seagate IDE 750GB

The 2x 750GB drives are now in a RAID 1 mirror in an ancient Dell PC that will serve quite nicely thank you as a backup box. The MyBook is awaiting connection to my main PC.

@Giles,

Is the "Western Digital MyBook 2TB Premium Edition" a 2 Terabyte hard drive? 👍

Tools are cool, but not as cool as appliances.

I'll remember that when we get a new refrigerator in a few months.

I had to get some more stain for the trim, that will be attached, with that new cordless nailer, that has been previously posted.

That wife of mine just bought me the Collectors Edition of Little House on the Prairie on Blu-ray. See:

Isn't she the best?

That is some epic storage space you have there.

Picked up 3 speakers today:

Paradigm Studio 40 v.4 (two of em')
Paradigm Studio CC-590 v.4

those three alone ran me around $2,000! This weekend I'm ordering a receiver, sub, cables, and the two Paradigm ADP-590 surrounds so I'll be out another....$2,500 to $3,000. UGH! But at least they will sound nice! :) I'm seriously done spending after this, I really can't take anymore!

Got this off of eBay for $.99 plus $30.00 shipping. Still not a bad deal.

And I got this from a friend of mine for $5.

New TV stand. It's so very much nicer than my old one. Each console has its very own shelf! (DVD/VCR and digi-box have to share). No more of this piling on top of one another business...

You really like him enough to put that goofy ass picture right smack on your TV?

You purchased $5,000? I hope you didn't pay more than $5,000.

And Joey, that's the best day's haul I've seen in a while 👍.

Jesus Christ, I want those Paradigm speakers.

What receiver and sub are you picking up?

Thankfully insurance picked up most of the $17,000 bill for The Vest. Anything to keep my son healthy and out of the hospital.

This is the best video I can find of it in action.

thanks! I do too, I'd love to keep them without the covers on like that but I think it might be too much for some, so I'll keep it low key and hide the real beauty :) Plus I'm paranoid about them so that cover is a little layer of defense for me.

Probably a Denon 2808 or a 3808. I'm trying to decide if 2 extra HDMI ports, 20 watts and some other minor things are really worth the extra couple hundred bucks. I've got an Onkyo receiver right now that would work but I'd prefer getting something newer and much more capable.

As far as subs, I'm really not too sure yet. I've looked at Epik, SVS, etc. but it's probably going to be a HSU sub as they are VERY moderately priced and can hang with or outgun subs twice their price. The folks at AVSforum speak very highly of them too so that's where I'm leaning. I'm already dropping enough on the speakers and receiver, I'm not trying to kill myself buying an expensive sub whose quality can be attained for half the price. My seating area isn't incredibly large so again, it should be more than enough for my needs.
