I use the Roccat Kave.

This 5.1 headset is a good as for the matter on the size of the sub i know mine produce the low end sounds(could be center speaker doing it) and the headset shakes to give the bass rumble effect.

Its a "Vibration driver"

Generally speaking the ".1" "sub" of the "sound" should be felt (mostly noticeable in your chest, where a headphone probably won't affect )

5 speakers are not required to achieve surround sound in headsets, you only have 2 ears and the level of speaker separation in a 5.1 headset means there's not any benefit like there is in a home theatre. The sound is still not coming from in front, behind or above you, it still needs to be emulated to be properly positioned there.
Any good game will have fine positional audio support for stereo speakers.

That's not to say they're bad, maybe you find a benefit, to each his own.👍

That's exactly my problem with the latest headphones: They have way too much bass. A bass should never be so loud so that it actually becomes a foreground instrument, because a bass is a background instrument. Whenever I pop on my gaming headphones to listen some music the bass is so high the natural clear sound of the music is getting hammered down by a a too heavy bass.
