That's exactly my problem with the latest headphones: They have way too much bass. A bass should never be so loud so that it actually becomes a foreground instrument, because a bass is a background instrument. Whenever I pop on my gaming headphones to listen some music the bass is so high the natural clear sound of the music is getting hammered down by a a too heavy bass.

Yeah and every teenager is about bass. Reason why I love the old drummer headphones since everything sounds in balance. I tried going to a concert in my church I ended up losing some hearing thanks to the bass. Since when do you see a metal Christan band redlining to the max in a church concert??? I now sometimes get slight beeps in my ears(very good sign of hearing loss).

Yes, that is called tinnitus, and the ringing/beeps you are hearing are the sound frequencies you used to be able to hear, but can't anymore. The brain compensates for this by producing the sound itself. It is constantly occurring, you hear it when you pay attention to it (usually because it's quiet around) or want to hear it. I'm hearing it now just from saying this.

Weirdly, I have heard that in some people the tinnitus is external, where other people can hear the ringing in your ears! So something else must be at work in those cases. I don't know the credibility of this though.

It was about time I picked up a decent online shooter. Haven't played an FPS since Crysis, but the multiplayer on that one was awful.

Plan is also to get Battlefield 3 in a week or so, but I'm not sure how the performance will be since apparently the website red-flagged my HD 5730 card :indiff:

Just bought this a few hours ago:

LATEST PURCHASE

Old meter is glitchy, so I decided to buy a new one. Told my wife I bought a tablet PC and gave that to her. She freaked a bit.... :sly: muhahaaa....

Also got Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for PS3 today. 👍

Nice, I always wanted an A5 back when I was playing, but never went through with it. Getting it with any upgrades?

Lol, I posted a link to that on my facebook page a couple of days ago.
Never heard of it before I searched for a farming simulator on google (I have exams, so was bored).
Had no clue it was 'well known'

Played this a month or so ago (my young nephew has it) - There are a ton of free mods for it. I was quite impressed by the effort put in to make it seem realistic (I was using a G25 and joystick for frontloaders).

Pretty relaxing too.

The thing that makes this game so much fun is the amount of mods for it available. It's a huge world.

The only problem with this game is that because of the fact so little people even know about this, the graphics are PS2, XBOX days with a badly optimized graphics engine. It basically looks the same as the 2009 game, and with too many mods downloaded it also runs equally awful.

The multiplayer is what makes this game great but it's ruined by the fact you start out with no money at all and the host has to actually accept you before you can even enter. Why can't they just make password protected servers instead then?

I also plugged in my DFP into the PC but it seems it doesn't work. The game says it does support wheels and gamepads but in the game itself there doesn't seem to be a menu for a wheel set-up.

In short: With some good development behind it and bringing a better multiplayer, this game can grow so much more.

Eh? The trailer said March 16th :boggled:
Lolno, that was the due date for the next part of the trailer

Anyway;

Just got a SanDisk Extreme Class 10 SDHC-16GB and a Lowepro Passport Sling.

Skullcandies don't usually last very long from what I know.

They aren't meant too. One of my good buddies is a engineer for Shure and has nothing but bad things to say about companies like Skullcandy and Monster Cables, Sony etc. Most electronic devices are made like crap.

What does one do with an $80 doll/statue/action figure? Not hatin, it's just I'm more curious then anything.

Depends on the person really. For me it's nothing more than the collection value and the fact that I love Gundam, but if you think the actual figures themselves are expensive, have a look at the tools/supplies.

A good airbrush will cost you anywhere from $90-200+ and that's before you purchase the compressor, and yes, you purchase both separately. :ill:

Terronium, should have some also. Sometimes it is more than a hobby..

I definitely have more than I know what to do with. It's getting to the point where they're going to start populating my desk, window ledge (inner) and random spaces within my room; I really need to purchase some display shelves/cabinets.

I am not all about bass. I just mentioned it produces craploads of it because that is one of the key features. And no, the 'subs' are not just effects, they are literally miniature sub woofers. The first design of the headphones was the first to ever have sub woofers in such a device.

The good thing about them is that they have adjustable bass, like a volume dial, from no bass to full bass. They also fold up into a small bag that comes with it.

The bad thing is that they do appear to be cheap, as most skullcandies are I believe. I just have to be more careful with them than I am with other things.

I'm not sure about Sony... I've got a wonderful pair of MDR-NC33s that are over a year old now, the print on the NC unit has worn off but the units themselves are otherwise in great condition.
On the flipside my sister had a pair of lower-end FontopiaEX earphones that literally fell apart.

I recommend Sennheiser headphones. Even their cheaper ones are excellent.

Getting spare parts for them is a PITA though! I loved my HD497 a lot, but ever since my cable snapped I couldn't use it anymore... :( But surprisingly I bought some cheap headphones at some pc convention some years ago and until now they are still working perfectly! Doesn't have great sound quality, design or comfort but considering my other countless headphones after it died within a few months after using it I can't be more surprised!

I bought Sony MDR-570LP headphones earlier this year. Sturdy quality and the sound they produce is good. My kids use the headphones too and I wish they last longer than the previous ones... LOL

I also have three pairs of old Sennheisers 👍 in the closet. Just need to replace the old snapped cables... They tend to sound awesome whatever the price tag is.

0 Euros.

Funny, the EA customer support guy added it to my account for free since he couldn't solve my issue with FIFA 11. I'd still prefer a solution, tho. :/

Just ordered a ham, pineapple, black olive and shredded provolone pizza from Domino's.

There will be pics.
