Vodka is vodka, I don't know how anyone can tell the difference with it.

I do not drink anymore, but when I did, I refused to drink any Vodka other than Chopin Vodka, it is from Poland. On the expensive side as far as vodkas go, but once you try it, you will love it. It is so very smooth. Try it and let me know if you still think the same about your statement.

The difference between, say, Potter's Vodka and Kettle One is huge. Potter's literally smells and tastes like rubbing alcohol. Kettle One is a lot more refined for the most part.

Drink this stuff instead of the 'premium' vodkas and you'll question why anyone will pay the price difference for Ketel One, Absolut, and the myriad of other higher dollar vodkas that taste like hair spray. Belvedere is pretty good though...

Smirnoff is only good for mixing, and only in certain drinks (certainly not vodka martini's). Skyy tends to be a slightly better value I'd say. Neither compare to higher shelf vodkas in terms of how they finish and not sure on the word, but smoothness is what I want to say. If you honestly feel a Vodka martini with Smirnoff will taste the same as a Grey Goose martini, you're taste buds are damaged

Splurge for some really good vodka. I have had vodka that comes in a plastic bottle and cost less than $10 for a fifth. It burned and didn't taste much different than rubbing alcohol. I have also had vodka that comes in a glass bottle with Russian lettering in the title that cost close to $30 for a fifth. I could drink that stuff straight from a glass as if it were just a glass of water.

My hair isn't up to the task - it is super straight and thus can't do the suave look as well with the hat. But the style itself I can emulate fairly well, though I need to get a good blazer, which generally means spending more than I'd like on a relatively low use item that isn't fully proper at professional levels but a bit too much for day to day.

If they have Abso, they'll have a different brand that I bet is a lot better. Smirnoff, like mentioned below, is good stuff. But, only when it's in a GLASS bottle. Stay away from plastic bottles.

Trust me, they don't. Aside from Absolut, they've got the stuff that costs half as much or less, probably isn't even known outside of Germany because it's just cheap and piss poor...

Personally, I'd just go for Russian Stadnard if they had it (which is even less expensive than Absolut, but better, in my opinion)...

+1 I thought having a glass desk would be badass, but the dust and freaking everything shows up. Mine's more than twice the size of that one, I just don't even care anymore. I'm also jealous of your keyboard, I've just got the tiny wireless one.

Sorry to add that I meant the standard Smirnoff here is the red label which is 37.5%. I have actually never seen (or never noticed) the black or blue label Smirnoff being sold. It is always the red label here.
