I do it too, especially if it's not a round number. I hate carrying coins.I only carry enough cash for little things, like something to drink here and there. I hate using my debit card for something that costs less than $5. My brother does it all the time and it drives me nuts.
Got myself a tool set for working with small screws that are in laptops. Be great to have this thing around when I get another laptop to work on.
Wiha 75990 40-Piece System 4 Interchangeable Bit Set - $44.30:
I could of gotten some craftsman tools but they don't have the small screwdrivers and most of the tools they sell are meant for regular sized screws that are used to mount stuff like power outlets and general home improvement. Not to mention I don't like the cheap ones at all. I've tried them once before but left me feeling like I'm dealing with crap. With this I've ordered I can take out even of the smallest screws or oddly configured laptop with Torx screws and Philips screws.
Why? I'll admit it's not nice to the merchants since they usually pay a flat interchange fee which cuts into profits for low-priced items, but otherwise there's no reason not to use a card.I hate using my debit card for something that costs less than $5. If it is less than a buck I at least make a show of trying to find the change in my pocket, then joke about how sad it is that I have to use the card. Why? I have a few pieces of this set. It's fantastic. I have the ESD handle for it. Mostly these pieces I have are the precision ESD sets Wiha have for sale.
New screwdriver and screwdriver bits are awesome. Getting all three of the screws that held the case cover on only took five seconds each to come out. It was well worth the 48 dollars I spent for the whole kit. The screwdriver bit I used only had a slight scratch on it and nothing else after taking the screws out and putting them back in.
Heh I actually see it really often around here, but mostly because I tend to go to hole in the wall asian or mexican restaurants. $5-10 minimums are super common, and a lot of asian places won't accept credit cards period. That said, I have noticed it becoming slightly more common for a $3 minimum to be required to use a card. By slightly, I mean I have seen it twice this year.

Theres even cash machines now that charge yoiu £1.75 of your own money to withdraw your own money..
I think extra charges are getting out of hand now, since when did an automated computer system that used to be free all of a sudden need an admin fee to work? Ticket sales are terrible too.
Got it (yay Amazon Prime!). Although I cant take a picture because my iPhone is my camera.
Whoa. A backwards computer. Madness.
I've seen a minimum spend required for credit cards in some places over here, but not for debit cards.Oh its everywhere in England, so many smaller outlets have a £5 minimum spend on cards (about 8 dollars). Even some bigger newsagent chains do it. McDonalds is £5 minimum spend, as are most pubs, bars and clubs.

Is there actually A C2E in there? I'll buy it from you.
I'm actually serious...
EDIT: That's either an X1800, 1900, or 1950. Which?
Can you overclock it?
You're brave, unless you're a female. Then if so game on.
For $200, that's actually an amazing deal, though the machine's dated as hell.
