Power Amp is probably the best music player on android, well IMO.

Logitech Squeezebox Touch.
A nice simple way to stream my flac files from the PC to audio gear in the lounge without having to burn them to cd.
Even plays my 24 Bit 96 khz files.
Android app also lets me control it all from my phone.

^ That looks like a neat little solution. 👍 I stream my music to my amp through AirTunes via an AirPort Express. That way anyone with a wireless device (laptop, smart phone, etc) can play direct through the house speakers.

Was forced to go shopping last night.
Luckily we passed the Levis shop and being how my jeans are over 12 years old and have developed a whole in the knee I was allowed to get some new one!

I can't find a picture and I'm really fussy about what I wear. If it's not plain enough I won't wear it. So I got a pair of 504 navy blue, no fading, no fashion rips and even the stitching is the same colour as the fabric. Mr Boring Garms that be me.

They were a bit pricey but they'll do for the next 10 years. My only moan was about them having a zip fly rather than buttons.
I hate zips because they break and when I'm drunk I can just tear the buttons open, a zip will be torn off.

So I got a pair of 504

I haven't fit into a pair of 504's for a very, very long time (my legs are too big/the pant legs are too small, one of the two). Disturbingly enough, my 7 year old was complaining about the exact same thing with his 505's this morning but didn't yesterday with his 569's.

Like papa, like son.

This, I get mad at some of these "regular fit" jeans, why are they so tight!

I'm lucky enough to be of quite slim built so most regular cut jeans fit me perfectly. It's going to take me a year or two to break them in though.

My old ones had turned sea green, from navy blue, on the thighs due to over 10 years of wear. Genuine fading coolness is cool.

My issue is that I’m skinny and I don’t sag my pants or anything silly like that, so finding anything that fits me is damn near impossible. Most clothing manufacturers bottom out at 30" waists, and I’m a few inches short of that. So usually I need 28" shorts (although it’s highly variable amongst manufacturers), although at least I’ve found jeans that I always know fit me – 29" Levi’s 514s. Damn things are never on sale and 29" isn’t carried in a lot of stores but at least when I do find them I know they fit.

Usually it's 511s for me, or my newly discovered 520. I had to stop wearing my pair of rigid 511s because they got...rigid. I had to do a stretch-'em-out routine before I could wear them in public. I didn't realize jeans the same size and number could be totally different!

Does not help that brick and mortar stores(supermarket types and not many local shops) don't stock 33x36 jeans. I always had to buy new jeans with a year less due to my growth spurts in High School. So I'm forced to order jeans online and I don't have much of a choice of seeing what fits best when I have to send jeans back.

Not really a purchase (serendipity, I suppose), but I managed to acquire my first turntable last week, exactly like the one pictured below, a Pioneer PL-90:





It now sits in my bedroom, and I am very happy with the way it sounds! However, I did go out and buy some records of my own to start off my own collection (now that I don't need to borrow my parent's turntable, I need to start my own collection of records as well! ) I managed to find:
