No, right now I've only got these:

Soul SL150.

I have absolutely no idea what they can really do. I know they're good, and considering I got them for $150 less than the list price I'm happy with them. But I've checked as many places as I could, it doesn't have specs listed anywhere. And all that tells me is it's not worth the $250 it normally costs.

My friend has some 500s, and I've tried those, so I should be able to compare just from the memory, and if not I'll wait until I'm over there to try them again.

Well, those and some crappy $40 Skull Candy headset that was a huge waste of money.

I almost regret coming into this thread, because I've said to myself that the XB700s would be the last set of Cans I would buy.....in other words, "No more Headphone purchases for at least 4 or 5 years"... I ended up making an excuse and bought the JVC HA-FX1X and now I'm mad interested in the XB1000....

The only reason I've been interested in getting a better pair of headphones was because of this thread. I was happy with my :censored:y little Skull Candies because I didn't look at the good stuff until I saw it here.

It :censored:ing sucks when someone's generosity only makes things worse.
I mean, I feel like a 🤬 when someone buys me something I don't want. Especially when I never even asked and they did it "just because".
If I ask them, I can at least blame it on myself, but when they do it "just because" there's no one I can blame it on without being a huge 🤬.

From what I've heard they're "good". And that's the best I've heard. The audio is supposed to be decent, but with good bass, but starts to crap out after only about 100 hours of use. And their apparently uncomfortable and hot. I won't know for sure until they get here, but judging by the price and specs they're probably right about even with the Soul SL150 that he didn't know I had. And now, with that thought in my head, I feel even worse.

When is comes to excellent headphones Shure for the price point cannot be beaten. No overdone bass or fancy looks with no substance. They are unbelievable.

I have a pair of SRH440's which are around $100, read the reviews and you will be shocked.

Alright, I decided on the MDR XB700s because the cheapest 1000s I could find were $250, and the cheapest 700s were $80. Not sure the extra 20mm is worth almost $200.

So, yeah, these I already have the money for and I'll be ordering them in just a few minutes.

Still wipes the floor with the Koss', but they're much cheaper.


EDIT: Right, never mind those. Something happened and I have no money to spend on extras. Well, I won't for the week anyway.

Thing after thing has stopped me from being able to get a god damn headset, and it's starting to piss me off.

Don't you find Sony headphones overdo the bass massively?, it seems to be a running problem with all their audio equipment ever since they introduced Mega Bass all those years ago.

Just a little, but the listening volume I set my music to isn't high enough to get me the "extra" bass... so it's really just a pair of cans that isolate sound better than my other two. I'm talking about the XB700s btw.

Purchased the entire Saleen S281 dual exhaust kit for the 67 Fastback Mustang including the Flowmasters. All modified and custom welded from beginning to end. I posted those pics in the Mustang thread.

Since Heathers white old 360 just took another crap, it was perfect timing to get the GOW3 console. Comes with the 360, GOW3, 2 controllers, headset, and 320gb hd. Actually a very good deal.

The case is colored but when you consider it comes with 2 controllers, 320GB HD, GOW3, a headset, and is wireless, its a KILLER deal. If you priced out all of those items individually it would be much higher than what they charge for that package deal. Just the 2 controllers and the game would be almost $200.00. Then you get a console, headset, and 320gb hd on top of that.
