Just placed a pre-order.

Oh, and this:
bubble-wrap-365214.jpg

And that's not a lead up to an unoriginal "and it came with this *expensive item here*" jokes.

I really did just buy a roll of bubble wrap.

^ So when you get bored with FM4 you can spend some quality time popping the bubbles, right? :dopey:

Ah, bonus accelerator. I've done the same. Who you with? Same as first year? I'm with Admiral.

I like (or not) how my Stilo is over ten times more expensive on Road Tax! Have you seen the Road Tax pricing for new cars in their first year? It's insane.

Yeah, a great idea. My parents didn't believe me when I said I get a years no claims out of it though. I'm with Admiral again, but only because they did a price match on a much cheaper quote i'd found when I said I was going elsewhere, the cheeky buggers wanted £1240!

Road tax annoys me, I know I don't pay a lot but when I see the state of the roads (especially round here) and other motoring related stuff I wonder what's the point..

It's strange to change your way of running after so many years, but it is definately feeling worthwhile. Vibram certainly know how to make soles, and Merrell certainly know how to make uppers!

Barefoot revolutionnnn!

Not my personal purchase, but this is what I get to deal with for the next 10 years. Plus I've already spent close to $1k in mods on the thing and I haven't even seen it yet.

Is that the wifey or something?
Congrats, reminds me of a post I made in this thread about a month ago... Total opposite though (white car for myself :P ).

Girlfriend.
Well, Black was the last choice but with the availability as low as it is, she was lucky enough to get one at all. She waited 2 weeks for a charcoal, which she preferred, but that got snatched up by another dealer. Waiting til november for the late shipment to come in was not an option.

It looks nice. 👍

Black always brings out the beauty in a car. But a pain in the ass to keep it that way.

I would've preferred silver to offset the dark wheels nicely. But she's happy which means I'm gonna be happy.

I completely agree with you, the roads in Birmingham are bloody attrocious with the amount of digging up the roads to lay a new water pipe / gas main / fibre optic cable. Unfortunately, most of our road tax goes towards subsidising the buses.

Picked up some light reading today:

And Volume 1 & 2 of The Old Repuplic comics. So far very underwhelmed by the first issue however.

Picked up some new boots for the impending winter, I was determined not to have frozen feet like last year. Cold and damp feet don't make for a good start to the day at work.

I have always had MAJOR problems with keeping my feet warm in the winter until I bought Mickey Mouse boots. They are the ONLY boots that keep my feet warm. I would highly suggest you look into buying a pair. They come in white or black. I have the black ones my wife has the white ones.
They are usually between $50.00 and $60.00 depending on where you purchase them. But I guarantee your feet will never get cold again in these things. And you only need to wear 1 pair of thin socks. I have also had mine for well over 10 years without any problems. They are severly durable.

After seeing that pretty much every other 'barefoot' runner was using toe socks, I decided not to get any... well, what a mistake that was!

Will hopefully help reduce rubbing (after the blisters have gone).

Bought a new Lego model tonight with my Lego VIP points, I had enough to pay for more then half of it

I've been meaning to pick up a Lego set the past few months to relive some old childhood memories. But, unlike my childhood, some of these sets weren't so ridiculously expensive.

Damn Lego is expensive. Some of the kits I've been wanting are half a weeks salary! Especially the NTX Mindstorms kit. I saved up for it and then decided for the same cash I could buy a new laptop, so I did.

Joey, nice purchase. Shem be jelly.

The issue with Lego kits is that because so many of the pieces are bespoke, so you can't use them to make other models, and they cost a fortune. I say go back to the old fashioned way of making lego set, so that cars/trucks/whatever look like you designed them on an Etch-A-Sketch....

via Steam; pre-purchased.

Picking this up today. Looking forward to ditching my rubbish DFGT and reminiscing over my dear, departed G25.

In addition to that a bunch of modeling/hobby supplies.

Nice! I remember building a lego model of the USS Kittyhawk. That was fun.
