This finally turned up today :D, ordered it two weeks ago on ebay.

I emailed the seller asking specifically if it was region free, to which he replied it was. Turns up and on the back it says region A (US&Canada), right about this moment I'm starting to get angry. So I pop the disks into our blu-ray player (region B) and lo and behold they all work.
This is where I'm confused, I was of the opinion that blu-ray movies were region locked. Am I missing something or just a bit :dopey:?

Cheers Shaun.

Real good show. 👍 Which reminds me, I need to watch the latest episode I recorded!

Officially there are the three regions for Blu-ray - A/1, B/2 and C/3 - but I've bought a number of discs from the US (A/1) and haven't had any problems playing them at home (UK - B/2). I don't know what the official line is, and perhaps someone with better knowledge could fill in here, so don't go ordering stuff on my word alone. :scared: It's just personally I haven't had any issues... yet. :sly:

BTW, I haven't tried playing them through my PS3 only my Philips Blu-ray player.

Both should be arriving today. Unfortunately I was an idiot and accidentally double-ordered the Stone book, but maybe I can give one away as a gift...

Sigur Ros - Inni Special Edition

The only reason I went for the SE is because it's a live recording of the first gig I ever went to, should be great revisiting it in HD!

Happy day for me today :D .

Dad and I went out and got this:

Hint: It's a Bang Olufsen product.

Overpriced stand. Like, really overpriced.

BeoSound 5 Encore. :D :D :D

Now we just need the Beolab 9s and we'll be all set :P .

I can see I'm not the only one expecting a zombie emergence some time soon. Everybody is getting tooled up.

My friends do it too, I'm also heavily stockpiling ammo, water, canned food and useful tools. You know, if there is a tiny little chance of surviving 2012 its definitely worth a try. ;)

Pumped, played parts of SOTC, but never Ico. The wife and I will play it together!

$60 for both of them at Best Buy.

My wife has a thing for glass purses and I collect an ever growing list of chores.

I totally had the idea for this game a year before it came out. i was talking to my friend and said "they should make a fighting game with star wars characters!"

And they did. soo i got a PlayStation for my birthday and the next day went out and bought it....... i beat it on Jedi the first day and was disappoint.

I still have it though and play it occasionally lol

Just purchased my first Ice Hockey Jersey. £67 quid she set me back but I'll get the use out of it :)

The team is the Belfast Giants, inspired by the legend of Finn McCool and the two Harland and Wolff cranes (Samson and Goliath!)

Woah, Masters Of Teras Kasi! That was one of my favourite PS games. I wish I could find my copy of it.
