S-10's are great. A shop I worked at had a turquoise one that I pretty much learned to drive stick on. Congrats!

I got Rambo First blood, First blood pt 2, & III for five dollars each at target.
And this.

Mailed a few and bought a stack of Ron Paul Super Brochures to hand out at work and a few other stubborn people I know. That's maybe another 47 people total that didn't know about him before but will now.

Probably the most sincere and awesome politician I know of. I really really hope he becomes president, problem is, presidents are not elected by the people, but by the shadowy government, so I see no chance for him for this position.

Yes, Keef, feel free to hate me for being the nut case again. :sly:

Upgraded my PC from a Core2duo at 3.6Ghz (E8400) to an i5 2500K, with a new motherboard and ram and cooler of course.

While it's not my latest purchase it was recent. (And I meant to make the post here I just kept forgetting)

It's a Honda VT250 Spada 88 build (89 model).

And yes that's my dads bar fridge in the background.

Did you reinstall Windows?

I'm about to do a similar upgrade (CPU+MB+RAM) and I'm wondering if I can make it work without reinstalling Windows.

Yes, of course it will work. You might need to uninstall motherboard specific software, but apart from that, there shouldn't be an issue.

Looks great for it's age!

G.T.F.O.

Is that really 24 years old?? Looks very good! 👍

Yeah. Always do so everything is clean, particularly with a new motherboard. I actually didn't realize this board didn't have IDE so I didn't have a DVD drive for a day. It tried booting the existing Windows installation but it kept opening up Startup repair to try to get it working, it wouldn't. Used to be easier in XP you could pop in an installation disc and use the repair option and it would basically just reinstall all the windows files without losing anything.

I also bought some frozen burgers (cooked meat - just need to warm up and place in the hamburger buns), some cooked chicken gizzards, and two chicken thighs to eat with some hot dogs

New dishwasher.

Kenmore Elite 1393 in Stainless Steel.

I fear the microwave and stove are next, at which point we'll likely just finish the kitchen off with a new fridge, too. :irked:

Got some of these yesterday. I think they look very nice, and I quite like them, even though they seem to lack any sort of comfort. Seriously, these shoes don't seem to have any padding at all, but I can tolerate that.

I take it those were the shoes you bought on that shopping trip you took with your mom, and what ensued you posted about in the WGYG thread, and we jumped all over you about?

Exactly. These shoes better be damn worth it all this crap that I'm going through because of the journey I took to get them. Next time I'm telling mom to drive the Mini.

I have to admit they look pretty cool but I wish they were just a tad smaller.

By the looks of things that company has the best products on the market, and if that one is a bit chunky, they also do a Tiktiok which is more of a snap in ordeal. Less security on your ipod, but it should be sleeker.
They also do a nano size and shaped timepiece to put in there after your nano dies. Awesome. But I can't find any to buy on teh 'webz.

The beauty of being a home owner. Some things you just HAVE to buy when they break. Luckily this washer was only about $375.00. Eventually I will also need a new water heater and probably a fridge.

I'm renting and in need of a sofa and fridge, man it's going to be depressing when I have to post that stuff in this thread, and not new lenses or HiFi.

Just like my dishwasher I posted yesterday.

I still wouldn't go back to renting, though!
Thats a nice looking dishwasher. I dont even have any room for one of those. So we just do it the old fashion way. That reminds me. Before the washer died, I had just finished repairing a line under my sink yesterday for about $6.00 and 15 minutes of work. That was very easy. Then the washer died.

I agree, there is no way would I ever rent again. Purchasing an appliance every 10 years is sure as heck a LOT cheaper than throwing money away renting. Especially since I am buying my house for almost half of the price to rent anywhere else. :sly:

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth (Cherry MX Browns) and a Razer DeathAdder. Been using membrane keyboards for too long now and my current keyboard + mouse combo is pretty bad. Had to buy direct from Razer as the Stealth BWU isn't available in NZ, so shipping was rather high! Would've gone for the non-Ultimate Stealth if it had a backlight but it doesn't so I didn't.
