Sweet plan, but is the subwoofer the only thing you're going to upgrade? You'll have terrible sound and a huge headache if that's the case :P .

I suggest you upgrade your whole system. Just my .02 (:

A total speaker swap is in the works but it'll take me a bit of time to save up the money. The most pressing problem is the complete lack of bass. If the subwoofer is set up properly it needn't cause headaches!

Yup. I didn't start reading the book yet but from what I've read on the internet it's basically based on meat, eggs, greens and nuts (not peanut though).

I've heard of this diet about two years ago and it seems everyone who tries likes it a lot so I decided to try it too.

But I like mine being right on the edge of that being an issue  Nice box though, I've got a basic fabric covered MDF box for mine. I'm quite jealous, that looks great.

Pre order package Vita, PS vita, 16 Gb card, F1 2011 on game card, Un Charted Golden Abys, Wipeout 2048, Super Stardust Delta.

Ps vita is one insane good product.

Are those weights for some kind of lift or tractor or something? No idea what the last two things are.

First two are front weights for a tractor (2500kg and 1000kg), the circular plates are bolt-on wheel weights for the same tractor, and the yellow thing is a safety guard for the power take-off shaft of a flail mower.

About £5,000 worth :ouch:

Our other PS3 started freezing and got the disk read error after doing the GT5 24 hour endurance race.. Soooo I purchased a new one.

I dont know anything about Harry Potter but this bundle came with the HP 3d movie for the same price as the regular PS3. So I figured I will just get it. A free movie is a free movie. Now I guess I should actually start at the beginning of the series and then eventually watch this 3d movie that came with the bundle. I still need to get some 3D glasses eventually too.

It's going to be more than a few months and I need a camera before then. Also the 5D2 has been in production for so long now I know I'm buy a decent, reliable camera.

^True.
I am waiting for the new one and probably don't buy it the first months to see the different user reviews as I don't need a new one immediatly, my 400D is still doing it's job after 20000 fotos.
Might be in for xmas.
Been lurking on canonrumors for months though but that's fun

^Why not wait a few months for the new 5D (x - mark3)??

This is what people told me last year as well when I bought mine :P

My 400D feels so toy like in comparison though. And the shutter sound. Just weird to use sometimes now.

It is a beast. The first time I started working the raw files I started laughing because of the resolution. True story. Did you also decide on the 70-200mm F/4L as well?

I'm going to live like a tight ass for a couple of months and try stretch to the 70-200 F/2.8L non-is. It'll give me way more options should I need to use it with a 2x extender.

Finally ordered a 5D2.

Nice

My purchases have been slightly less extravagant...

Shimano MT43 SPD shoes...

...and Shimano M530 SPD pedals.

I've not had clipped in pedals before so hopefully I'll get the hang of them pretty quick and not fall off the first time I stop the bike :ouch:

Good luck with them, Neal. I've been meaning to get myself a set of those too. I think I'll look them up on Taobao and not bother to mention how much I pay for them. :sly:

Were, they expensive, if you don't mind me asking? Just so I know what sort of price I should be looking at. And then half it. ;)

EDIT: I'm looking at ~£20 for the pedals.

Clips are great, you'll notice the extra power instantly. Just set the springs fairly loose if your worried about falling, I did that when I first started using them and I've never fallen over because I couldn't get out. As you get used to them, tighten them back up if you find yourself pulling your leg out unintentionally on the upstroke.

IIRC, a reasonable set of clips and shoes will probably set you back around £60-£70. Although I got mine so long ago I forget how much I paid.

I can't find any shoes so far, I found loads of clip sets for a fairly low price but the shoes are difficult to find on the cheap. I'm looking at Specialized at the moment to see what they have on offer.

EDIT: £50 so far on the shoes.

£55 for the shoes and £32 for the pedals plus had a £10 off voucher so £77 in total, I could have got cheaper but like the look of the trail pedals with the cage and wanted the shoes to look a bit like trainers rather than the race or AM style.

I'd read about setting the tension lose to begin with so will definitely do that, any tips for the cleat placement?
