Great purchase! 👍

Finally bought the lens I was looking for to use on my Nikon D300:

It's going to serve me well in landscape, at the pits during races and interior shots when tripod is not an option.
Beast of a lens, material and build quality easily matches Nikon's or Canon's top stuff in these focal ranges. Super smooth zoom and focus rings too, it's a pleasure to use.

I'd read about setting the tension lose to begin with so will definitely do that, any tips for the cleat placement?

Start off with them in a fairly central position with the cleats under the ball of your foot, that usually works for most people. You'll need to ride them a few times though to find out if you experience any knee pain, then it's a case of sliding them or rotating them to iron that out.

You bought two pairs of shoes in one day?! That's verging on metrosexual that chief ;)

Those shoes are smart. They're the kind I'd go for; useful for riding, useful for work, too!

That'll explain why you want SPD rather than road cleats, I pretty much run all my expensive clothes purchases past my wife. Even my 4 year old complains about how I dress him!

Nice one 👍

 Most of my expensive clothes purchases are made by my wife! I hate shopping so much I show her what kind of thing I want on the web and she goes out and buys it/ orders it (I don't trust myself with the bank card, especially knowing my past binging habits). :)

I do all mine online but I did have to make special trip to try the shoes on for size...then bought them cheaper on tinternet. :P

Well, I am 33% gay! Allegedly.

I've yet to take that test, I exfoliated once so I'm worried about the result.

I decided to collect Coldplay's albums, mainly because I love their songs. To start off, I bought Viva La Via + Prospekt's March for $22:

Twenty rolls of:

For an insanely good price I might add too. The same amount from my usual film shop would be around £160, I got this for £64. Then I checked Lomo's site and saw they were £9 a roll. Still need to restock on Tri X as well...

$40. $50 with shipping.

Bought it because currently my only way to transport my laptop is with this giant bulky backpack. Only reason I needed the size was because I took my Xbox and/or PS3 to friends houses. Now that that's not a problem the size is an inconvenience.

That and Steampunk Twilight is awesome.

Should be here on the 1st.
