That was the most ridiculous thing I noticed about the new Macbook Pro's configurator

I have to buy one since the campus bedroom I'm going to live in for a year doesn't have Wireless...how do you know it's for the new Macbook Pro?

Last night I bought:
- A Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 2TB HDD. It was between that and a Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB which was a 5k rpm drive, so.
- A 5V 2A power supply for a solar powered fountain I'm converting to DC for my Mum, because I'm such a great son...
- a bag of Flexlink 5mm slot T-nuts for to attach MDF to my cockpit in a way that is non-destructive and nice.
- $20 (£13) Simraceway credit, with which I've already bought the Indy and I'm deliberating over the two 70's McLaren F1 cars, a GT2/GT3 and/or the Maserati MC12.

That's my lot for a while though (excluding travel and food) (and beer), saving starts now.

I bought it (just a few bucks) for two reasons:

1.) Yes, ja, I`m a trophy whore. I like trophies. Not that I`m addicted to this "bling". No, really not. I swear. But I like it. Trophies - why are they? Because they make you to do things you wouldn`t do without them.

2.) I want to know if the game is really that bad. I don´t know Hannah Montana. But her name starts with the very same first three letters like my username. She/the game can`t be that bad?!?


To wash away my sins I bought Portal 2 now.

Because the new Retina class Probook doesn't have an Ethernet port. It only has Thunderbolt ports, apart from HDMI and USB and an audio jack, so it's basically got nothing useful in terms of connectivity.

What do you think of it so far, because while a family member has a PadFone, another family member likes playing with it so much that said member now wants a tablet too.

I've only had it for a bit and so far I love it. There's really nothing to say against it. At all. It does everything any other Android device could do plus a little bit more thanks to the whole Nvidia thing. Screen's beautiful, interface is simple but still packed with all kinds of functions.

I wouldn't take my word for it though as I've really only had it a few hours and I'm still in the setup process of getting my music onto it and all that stuff.
