My latest purchases were booking enough flights and hotels to get me from Boston to New York in one month... the long way around the world.

I have a job interview in Melbourne this December and enough vacation days saved up to make a journey out of it. Though I'll be in Australia the majority of the time, I'm ending the trip with a week in Hawaii. It's like a vacation away from a vacation.

I was surprised to see that joke come up again after spending 2 months in CG basic training.


I was equally surprised that I still caught the joke after going through 2 months of basic training. That's a good example of my brain retaining information I don't need.
