Those aren't from Yes Style are they? I've heard some bad things (and seen some pictures) about the fit and quality of their clothing. They pull some tricks to make the items look good on the mannequins, so when you try them on for yourself it might not look exactly as you hoped.

Pelican 1690, don't know what to fill it with just yet.

I own a Pelican Storm im2600. I got mine usually filled up with PC tools and my laptop. It weighs 25 pounds but at the end of the day it protects my stuff and all of the scratches on it is the proof. I once accidentally chipped the wooden handrail with it and it only had a slight scrape. Well worth the cost.

I absolutely love them. I have a 1500 series that I used to transport my .44 mag/accessories when I was up in Alaska. I just need to replace the foam inserts. I got the larger one as a gift from a coworker. She absolutely blew my mind when she gave it to me.

Edit: Just my mind was blown.

No I got these from Ebay. I'm also half Asian and done NUMEROUS measurements plus gave a little extra to the size numbers just in case.

Replacing my Vic Firth headphones since they are old and the pleather pads are breaking apart(getting thin and ripping) and causing me ear pain. My Grandma gave me a $25 amazon gift card so I'm only paying $25 of the purchase. So well worth it with the money saved.

You're going to have a banquet with the Sultan of Brunei? Nice. My dad used to work in his palace to help maintain their air conditioners. The Sultan's got loads of money and cars.

Yeah, it will be held in a hotel in London this 30th. It's for:

"This event will provide us with the cherished opportunity to meet and express our sincere gratitude to our most beloved Monarch.

All Bruneian students, particularly the recipients of scholarships from His Majesty’s Government, Brunei Shell Petroleum Scholars, holders of other scholarships and private students are welcome to share in this momentous occasion.

Apparently students who attend the event will be given 250 GBP :) extra pocket money!

Very happy with it, I don't understand why I didn't get one earlier.

Found an ad on Craigslist for a MacBook Pro, 2010 Unibody, 13 in, for $500.
Called and was sold. Am now pursuing a road bicycle that looks pretty cool for $45.

I wasn't aware that this was the What I'm attempting to purchase thread. ;)

Need for Speed: Most Wanted - so far I'm having a blast on this game:

My brother in law just got some PX3's that were in offer on Amazon. They are awesome!

I got a Turtle Beach setup back in 2010, can't recall the model. For $125+, sure they sound great despite being fairly open air. The nest of wires and modules and not being able to utilize 7.1 on PS3, is why I can hardly wait to give it to my son when I get the $100 PlayStation headset in Feb. on the PS3 you cannot use 7.1 while in multiple output mode and not in optical audio output. On top of that the ONLY audio codec that can be selected is Dolby Digital 5.1. That means no high bit rate audio for movies, DTS Master Audio or Dolby Digital TrueHD. Not even in 5.1.

If much rather just use my simple $25 Logitech 1 ear headset. I don't have to reset a boat load of crap on the PS3, including exiting the game. Nor, rework my wiring.

1 20cl bottle of Chambord.

And Half Life 2 plus Ep 1 & 2 from Steam for the MacBook.

£43 is more than I wanted to spend, but at least they don't hurt my feet. They're surprisingly identical to the pair I've had for more than 2 years as well.

Also got these:

£53 for both.

Fenix LD12

I got a $20 gift card thing for some reason last time I was at Sport Chalet, so I went looking for something to use it on, and I'd already been in the market for a new EDC light so this was a good find. I'd been looking for something decently bright, pocketable, and that used AAs, and once I realized the LD12 was an AA-powered light I realized it was perfect.
