Watched it last weekend in HD. So much awesome 👍

I just downloaded Waze. How is it? I read from one review that it can crash and get you to a destination through some bad areas.
It used to absolutely suck. Going from Fargo to Minneapolis (straight down I-94) for about 15 miles it kept telling me to turn off onto a highway that would take me 40 miles out of the way. When I didn't, it wanted me to turn around. Eventually it gave up and was fine for he rest of the trip. In the last few months as map issues have been fixed, it has steadily become better. I highly recommend it. 👍

*Go Like Hell

A very good book, although a bit Ford biased.👍
Grand Prix is also an epic movie!

As for me, I have decided to replace my 11 year old 20" SDTV with a 24" TV/Monitor combo. Will save room, let me have a dual-monitor setup and finally allow me to watch racing in HD all at the same time!!!

Also got a couple HDMI cables but you know what those look like.:P

Better than my five-year outdated GPS. Occasionally it will try to take you an odd way based on incident and traffic reports. It also learns from the routes of other drivers. For example, last night I went to Hooters. Going in it took me straight in from the interstate on main roads. When I left it took me through a residential neighborhood that came out next to the interstate on ramp. Clearly some previous users who had a few drinks have avoided main roads on their way home. If you have a preferred route that you take, despite its directions, it will learn that for you and send you that way. Another thing is map editing. Going to work it kept trying to have me turn left into the building lot where a left turn was not possible. I went online to their map editor and marked it as being unable to turn left there and now it takes me to the other entrance unless I am able to turn right into that entrance.

It learns and continues to get better, in fact, if I start it from certain locations at certain times it will ask if I am heading home or to work and give me the route automatically. But the real bonus comes from user reporting. You can report debris in the road, missing signs, accidents, weather issues, traffic, and even police traps. When other users report these things you are shown the reports when selecting a driving route and given a warning while driving.

The newest thing they have added is the ability to share your drive. You can send your info to other Waze users and it will open in their app and even allow them to meet up with you, or send you a route to come pick them up. You can also share with non-users and it will show them real time location data for you on a Web page map with ETA. I use it when traveling to someone's house out of town so they know when to expect me and can see if I'm running behind or stuck in traffic.

But it will occasionally have trouble finding an addresses or have strange directions. That's when I flip over to Google Maps and their voice guidance (which Waze also has).

As for the crashing issue: It was fixed for me in the last update, but if I am having signal issues it might crash out. It has been designed now to back up your current navigation data, so if you just reopen it there will be a prompt asking if you wish to continue navigation.

I can't wait for the car dock to come in on Tuesday. I bought it on ebay and it was the cheapest there.

Time to get to work on my leather items to make sure they last.

Picked up my new sunglasses this afternoon. They are Nike Vantage 300's with a yellow/gold mirror finish on them. I'm pretty happy with how they came out and I can finally retire my badly beaten Oakley's.

Can you take the lenses out of those to be replaced with presciptions? I'm looking for a new pair sometime this year.

Mine are prescription and they are a pretty hefty script too so they'll hold fairly thick lenses.

How much, if you don't mind my asking?

I saw this watch the other day whilst looking for a new wallpaper for my Nexus:

So I thought "Hm. I want this. How much does it cost?" thus I Googled expecting it to be, at the most expensive, maybe 5k or something in that region. No.

$100-260k. :odd:

Insurance picked most of them up but they invoiced at $850. I think I ended up paying $100 for them out of pocket. Eye insurance is a wonderful thing.

**And that watch, I want it.

That's not bad at all. Wonder how much I'd have to pay...

I've been wanting to pick up a pair of Transitions for a while now.

That watch is so unnecessary

No you! :P

Gift card gained me these.

Purely for the single player. Heard it's a bit buggy but only cost $29.

New Bullet For My Valentine cd. Good band if you like hard rock/metal. Have their other cd's and seen them live.

I sorta bought a splint and ear stitches. Moral of the story is make sure quick release is tight before you ride.

Also I got This Is Normal by Gus Gus...$3 on amazon.

Picked up NFS Shift 2 Unleashed, game is pretty fun, been playing it for the last hour and a half.

Parent's wanted me to buy a air filter so I bought the cheapest desktop style air filter possible. Apparently it's rated to clean air within a 500 sq ft area.

Sony MDR-EX50LP earphones. Cheap, as comfy as in-ears can be without custom moulds and have surprisingly good bass for the size.

Sennheiser MX370 earphones, again they were cheap, comfy and have decent bass.

HDMI port on the TV is breaking apart and sound does not work anymore. It seems like the video is uneffected but I need the converter to bring sound to the TV from the PC.
