Ok I couldn't help myself when this popped up on ebay.
BNWT and I snagged it for less than half price (still pricey enough) as the guy who bought it couldn't squeeze into it.

Rapha classic long sleeve cycling jersey.
Do I need it, no not really but need and want are two separate things.
Just another to add to the collection.

@Daniel let me know if you notice any increase in volume of the PS4 particularly while the disc drive is spinning when it's in a vertical position. Standing mine up would be slightly better space wise for me but I've heard the noise increases a bit that way. As the PS4 is very quiet I would prefer to keep it that way.

It actually sounds quieter than when it was horizontal.

I needed the space as well. Now I just need to get a vertical PS3 stand. :P

My current cycling gloves are >2yrs old and getting a bit stinky, so picked these up on an early 50% off Boxing Day sale:

Interesting to know New Zealand's got a similar one to the Great Britain's I got from a colleague many whiles ago.

Note the two on the bottom left are 1904 and 1901 respectively.

On a tight budget right now...I really don't like buying cheap-ish tools, but at the same time I hate using my dads for everything. So I did myself a favor and knabbed this 40 piece Metric tap and die set. SAE next.

I also got this Stanley toolbox, with a 60 piece ratchet/socket set, both metric and SAE. I've already got a few sets (my baby is my Blue Point set) but you just can never have enough. Got a good deal on this. I'm not concerned with the quality of these though, since they are Stanley, which happens to make MAC tools, and those are really good. I've had several other Stanely things, and I got a small 1/4" ratchet/socket set over the summer that I like. We shall see how this fairs.

Next thing on the way is my big gift to myself... a Craftsman tool box and my car to be fixed this weekend :D

Ordered this today along with the PS3 adapter for it.

Got sick of juggling remotes to operate various pieces of AV equipment.
Should be reasonably wife friendly once I explain that pressing one button will turn on and control all the various pieces of equipment required for the job at hand.
God knows when it will turn up though with the postage at this time of the year.

@Shaun - I paid entirely too much for my Harmony remote but my wife likes it so much that when the time came to get a remote for the theater, there was no discussion. We were getting another Harmony. If you haven't set one up before, some devices (like my TV and an IR light switch) didn't want to fully cooperate for a bit but every other device worked perfectly right out of the gate. I'm sure you, and more importantly your wife, will love it. 👍

A friend of mine got me a set of extra-long dumbbell bars which I tried to find for a year, now I can easily put 6x 10Kg weights on it without having to be afraid of them coming lose and smashing my face. I put a short bar in front of the long ones for size comparison.

@Shaun @TB, can we make a Harmony Club? :dopey:

I... went a little crazy with the spending, but it's Christmas. Sue me. I dare you.

Not sure if I posted this already but if I have it wasn't purchased then.

And because I've grown tired of looking for images... Max: Curse of Brotherhood and Spartan Assault for XB1, two packs of Fruit of the Loom undies (14 in total), and I think that's it.

So I thought I needed a new bike, walked into the local local bike shop, and got talked into this.
A Trek Madone 6.5, and she's a beauty :)

Very nice. 👍
Is that Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting? I can't quite make it out due to your awful focusing. :P
Slap some Ultegra carbon pedals on it and she's ready to go.

Edit: never mind just clicked on the image and worked out it's not Di2, nevertheless still a great bike. 👍
