Very Nice. Don't often see Märklin around, but I remember a couple of bodies (240Z and a Porsche 906 I think) being converted for use on a Scalextric track back in the day. Same 1:32 scale.

@Mike Rotch : Is it with the M42 mount? And if so, is it still good when used with an adapter on a Sony Alpha 58?

Very Nice. Don't often see Märklin around, but I remember a couple of bodies (240Z and a Porsche 906 I think) being converted for use on a Scalextric track back in the day. Same 1:32 scale.

So no 240Z (maybe you mixed it up with the Jaguar E-Type, which was my favourite car back in the day) - but lots of 906 aka C6 versions where available, yeah. White, red, orange, grey and green. Some as convertible and/or with front lights, too.

It is a M42 - unless you get a chipped ring mount, a plate mount it allow it to work in Manual mode only - a chipped mount may work in Av too, but I think it depends on the Alpha model as some don't work with chipped rings (i.e. just get a plate ring).

Both mounting plates have no optical glass to mess up the image quality 👍

👍 It's a fantastic game. Played AW2 long after the console became obsolete. Cartridge started crashing on start up though. Don't know if it has anything to do with it's battery dying.

Wish someone would port it to iOS.
