Picked up a number of things today, plus a few I forgot to post.

Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
Logitech z195 Wired Speakers
And, for @pokemonfan58 - Flareon, Espeon, and Leafeon plush dolls.

And I just realized my desk is a mess.

If that desk is a mess, I have no clue how to describe mine. Since getting a laptop and tablet the Desktop barely gets used and so the desk has become a great resting space for whatever happens to land on it. Occasionally, there is an avalanche.

Main issue is that the desktop (the black thing to the left) takes up nearly 25% of the desk space by itself, not including the monitor/speakers/keyboard and mouse. Huge case, but I suppose that that's my fault since I didn't measure the case when building the desktop (everything fit though!)

You dont have a auto shop that sells megs?

Not saying megs is a bad brand, but you can do better for polish and waxes than megs for the car
I use this place for
http://cleanyourcar.co.uk/

Postage will be a pain in the butt, but you will be able to get polishes and waxes that you cant easily get in the AU/NZ area.

Things I recommend.
Chem guys wooly mammoth towel, I use it and it gets damp after drying my civic.
I use victoria wax for the car and sonus polishes, the 200g clay bars are cheaper than the smaller bars you get from the auto store and very good.

You should really use this stuff, on the wheels and body of the car
http://www.waxit.com.au/collections/iron-removers/products/carpro-iron-ls-x-50-500-1ltr-4ltr

Iron-X is some bloody good stuff.

I know all about that stuff- I actively follow a detailing forum and have been for a few years- but don't you think importing even more expensive stuff imported from the UK is a bit OTT for a 15 year old's little pastime? I definitely will check out those links though, thank you for sharing them. That drying towel may be perfect for my needs, it just depends on price.

Cool. Where did you order those Plushies Amazon? I have a Glaceon Plushy that is doing the same sit pose as those three Eeveevolutions. Heck maybe they could be the same model as my Glaceon Plushy.

@SlipZtrEm Limbo is great, I found it to be a little shorter than I'd have liked but it's a fantastic game while it lasts.

On the topic of buying stuff, just pre-ordered

Aphex Twin - Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments PT 2' EP

On vinyl of course, I'll also get the FLAC version from Bleep, also there maybe an MP3 code, this will be up for grabs in the usual place if there is one ;)

I'm excited to play through it on my own: I bought it for my girlfriend to enjoy yesterday. I played a few parts that she had trouble with, but I'm trying to keep my exposure to a minimum. Still blown away by the art direction of it.

Get the drying towel and the bilt hamber clay 200g and it is works out cheaper than the 70g bars megs and mothers sell.
Good wax and OK wax show their results.
The drying towel is worth it, the chamosis that you find in stores are crap.
Other things like shampoos and window cleaners you get from the local store are fine.

Forgot to mention this is a product that a car lover should have

https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/autobrite/ab_snow_foam_lance

A snow foam lance with decent snowfoam.

But you do need a pressure washer for it.

Thanks for the links, I'll definitely buy something in the near future. 👍

I bought some Kindle versions of comic TPBs to go back and reread some stories without digging collectible issues out of storage.

X-Men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1, The Infinity Gauntlet, and The Infinity War.

I was on a bit of a buying spree after Christmas to update and upgrade my clothes. I bought a few new dress shirts, a couple of sweaters, a pair of dress slacks, a pair of chinos, a pair of khakis, new socks, a peacoat and a pair of leather dress shoes.

Yeah, it's just a pile of clothes in the picture.

And I also ran out of Bourbon at home, so I bought some of this:

I really want to start reading comics. I downloaded the Marvel Unlimited app for my phone and tablet, started browsing the comics available, became overwhelmed, and dropped the idea. There is too much content available. I have no idea where to begin.

Nice! 👍 Please let us know how it is.

If you are going to do it digitally on an app, I suggest a third-party, like Kindle, Nook, etc. The most popular for pure comic reading is Comixology. Third-party apps/services will have titles from multiple companies. If you just get the Marvel app you will only get Marvel titles.

And the overwhelming issue is why I try to buy them by the collected volume. You have over 75 years worth of comics out there. The collected volumes will lump stories together or allow you to get multiple individual issues in one lump. If you buy them individually you will wind up having to buy multiple titles. An example is Deadpool vol 2-3. It is the Dark Reign storyline. Two issues in the story are from the Thunderbolts title. The collected volumes placed them all together in order.

My two latest purchases, first a new pair of Nike Roshe Runs. The most comfortable shoe I've ever had. Legs not included.

And a pre-order for The Smith Street Band's latest 7" record, Wipe That **** Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face. Not Sure how I'll feel about Tony Abbott's face sitting on my record shelf but the music is pretty great. Also I ordered mine on clear vinyl but this was the best image I could get.

Grandma is confusing the phone with the TV remote and doesn't know how to work it anymore.

Vtech just kicked in, yo.

Alzheimers sucks.

Time for an upgrade. Got a 64GB iPhone 6.

I love the new health app with the motion chip. It can count your steps whenever you walk, even if not open, connects to any other health apps you prefer to use, and connects with the Humana Vitality app for my work's wellness program.

Essentially, the motion chip combined with the built-in barometer allow it to act just like a FitBit. I can see this hurting fitness devices if it catches on. Why have a pedometer or another $100+ device when your phone will do it all for you? By my tests, it is also more accurate than all three of the pedometers I my house.

I also got a clear case (seen on the phone above)and a 5.1A, three-port USB charger for my car so I can convert my iPhone 5 into a dash cam.

While I was using my free Amazon gift cards, from the wellness program, I picked up a new deep fry/candy thermometer to replace my old on that broke when the bulb was touching the bottom of the pan.
