If I get the house I'm bidding on, I'll have the entire basement to myself and I'll definitely be looking into a projector instead of a TV.

So what exactly is 4k? A higher resolution than 1080p or something? People keep saying how good it looks, but I haven't really noticed a difference in Youtube videos, but I'm not even sure if Youtube can do anything in 4k.

Even if it can, if you don't have a 4k monitor you won't see any difference. Costco has some 4k TVs that are being fed good quality 4k content and it looks absolutely fantastic.

Unless of course you're downsampling 4k.

YouTube has some 4K videos up that you can easily see a visual difference. It won't be as apparent on a 1080 screen because, well, it doesn't have 4-times the number of pixels to display image properly, but you will notice a difference by sheer comparison.

If your internet speeds aren't up to par it will be something of a slideshow though. :P

4K is basically 2x wider than a 1920x1080 and 2x taller than a 1920x1080

This can be seen a crude 4K display

And dont forget youtube murders video quality so you wont be able to see much anyway.

The Dell laptops I've had all had a cover you could take off to get to the RAM. I take it that's not the case?
 
I know i have not bought this, but i found out by accident that i`ve just been bought this & i get it at Christmas. It`s the best way to get MW Remastered when you can`t be bothered paying £70 for a game that i`ll barely play which is Infinite Warfare. So it`s a shortcut for me so i can just play MW Remastered mwahaha. Screw you Infinity Ward.
Oh & i`m getting this because i`m not bothered about big 4K graphics & frame rates, it`s not the graphics which makes the games in my opinion. Hence why i`m getting this & not The Pro. If a game plays & it`s good, then that`s enough for me. And it costs less with the same 1tb hdd.

Bought a Pioneer PL-400 turntable on ebay. Took me about 20 minutes to unpack, god knows how long it took them to put all that together. I don't have any speakers but it does work as it should and plays music. The only problem area is that the left corner of the dust cover is broken.

Also bought two new pairs of shoes and donated the old ones. I didn't know that Tommy Hilfiger made shoes but they seemed to be pretty good quality and were very comfy. For $30, I couldn't go wrong.

UHD is the same but 2x wider than 1280x720 and 2x taller than 1280x720

If you get an Ultra Wide monitor the resolution will be around 2560x1080

Which is 2x wider than a 1280x720 and 1x higher than a 1920x1080

Sorry, I misspoke. I meant to say dual monitor. Two monitors running 1920x1080.

What's your impression of it? I was considering it but went for Alabeo's PA23 Aztec and PA31 Chieftain instead.

It's awesome! I like that you can pick between steam gauges and the G600. The Aztec is great too. Don't own the Chieftan yet.

Sherwood receiver/amp. Really a great unit for the price. Two regular RCA inputs and another two outputs, a phono input, AM/FM and has Bluetooth. So at this time, I have my TV, turntable and phone connected to it. next on the list is a sound card so I can run cables from my computer in to it for that last RCA input. I found some old Kenwood speakers in a closet, but they're kinda trash as main speakers so that's also on my list. I'm eyeing a couple different <$100 bookshelf speakers, so we'll see. Also has a 1/4 inch headphone input but I'll have to get an adapter. But yea, I basically have a full home theater system in my bedroom now so that's cool.
And in case you were wondering, yes it's freakin huge and no the right speaker will not be sitting on top forever, lol
