I ordered a second Monoprice "Prime Holiday Laser Light Projector with 2-Head Red and Green Laser Effect". That's a mouthful.

I've seen similar items around the neighborhood. Some are very dim but move, others don't move but are bright so I wasn't sure what to expect. I kind of wish it had more program options (it cycles from red only to red and green to green only) but it is much brighter than I was anticipating. Bonus - it turns on automatically at dusk and turns off 6 hours later. Big bonus - I don't have to get on the roof to put up lights. Or have them up in November.

My uncle, who happens to be my neighbor, has one of those setups. His isn't very good though, you have to be right up on his house to even see them.

It's a crappy cell phone picture but here's appropriately how bright it is. FYI - it's actually a lot brighter and more impressive.

It's in my front yard and is projecting 20 feet onto my front door, through the glass and just barely shows up on my living room wall another 35 feet away. I consider that pretty impressive for a $25 light.

I got a few new games a month ago for my PS4, digital version of tomb raider and I got rise of the tomb raider and god eater 2 rage burst which came with a code for god eater resurrection.

Yesterday traded in my '08 pontiac g6 gxp coupe for a '15 Subaru WRX premium with only 22,555 miles on it, as much as I would like to learn a manual transmission I got the automatic due to my hip gives me trouble.

MSI Gaming GTX 1080
1024.png

I screwed up, that Asus GTX1080 is not reference design despite its price.
Asus used some weird caps.
So i got it changed since I plan on water cooling the GPU and CPU.

Oh man! Do I have to get a Titan X now? So jelly!

You can get an old video card if you want.
But why will my GTX1080 make you get an old video card?
Do you feel threatened by my new rig?

The 1080 is very close to the Maxwell Titan X, but it won't beat the newer Pascal Titan X.

I do feel threatened; very much indeed! :D

New house = New TV. Samsung UE55KS9000 55" curvy super-ultra-HD thingy TV.

Bought mainly because it has a completely smooth back with just one cable to a remote box where all your devices attach and you'll be able to see the back from where it's going to be placed. The current Samsung UN55ES8000 55" is going to be my new gaming screen - whoop!

Awesome TV bro, very jealous.

I find it a struggle not to buy a new TV every damn store I visit....

Didn't you seek TVs as a profession?

I'd still suggest projectors over TVs. More screen for the bucks.

I did, and now these days I'm a rep for Hifi Equipment for Denon, Marantz, Jamo and a few others, so I visit the stores every day and look at them

Projectors are awesome but require a lot more setup work and you will need to own the house you live in as they also require a proper stereo setup.

I beg to differ. When I used my projector for PC/ PS3 I had no issues positioning it on a side unit and projecting onto a white wall. With blackout curtains even harsh daylight didn't affect the image. I had a 6ft by 10ft screen for only £300! And that was at a rented property.

The sound system I never really indulged in, a Logitech twin speaker & bass worked well enough for my needs. For about £400 I had a more than suitable set up, though it wasn't proper stereo/ surround sound.

Seems I just bought a piece of farm.

One of my wife's relatives has some debt problems and needed to free up some cash so put 400m2 of land up for sale and for a very low price I now have a plot of land to farm on. Possibly. I could build on it but I already have another piece of land for a house, this one can be for something else.

How random this morning has been.

Buy goats.

Buy goats.

Oh man, I love goats.

It's not anywhere close to where I live though (50 miles away) because it's in my wife's home village in the sticks. No real idea what to do with it other than rent it to rice farmers.

Just got updated, it's closer to 600m2, so that's good news.

Do hops grow in Thailand? Just sayin'.

Or start a very small version of Jurassic Park.

How about Diggerland: Thai Edition!

Banger racing course? Go karts! Build a crazy golf course!

The possibilities...

Wrong climate really.

Or start a very small version of Jurassic Park.

That's what my sister suggested...tempting.

How about Diggerland: Thai Edition!

To rural for any sort of visitors. But playing with diggers would be awesome.

Banger racing course? Go karts! Build a crazy golf course!

Might be a tad small for any sort of track, but if I liked crazy golf enough I'd look into that. It's only 600m2.

The possibilities...

I know! :D I might even have the whole site dug out and put in a lovely fishing pond. Not sure wifey will agree though.
