$20!

So, the sister of mine who's living in Philly came down with early Christmas gifts due to her and her fiancee's inability to actually be here Christmas day. Got a $50 Steam card, picked up:

Would download but ahahahahahahahanope 38 GB and I'm probably already pushing the upper cap (before overages) of my monthly Internet plan. (Even if I COULD, Steam is saying that at 1 MB/s, it'd be a ten and a half hour download.

Merry xmas to me

I'm trying to make @TB want a Tacoma more, so I ordered my 3" lift kit today:

It'll be installed next Friday along with a set of Light Racing upper control arms to make sure everything aligns properly. And they'll be doing a cab mount chop as well so I can clear 33" tires.

:irked:

On my way back to work after lunch, I was behind a Tacoma with Utah plates. Even though I knew it wasn't you, I though it would be slightly amusing if it was. :P

I bought these last Tuesday as an early Christmas gift to myself, but thought I should post them here anyway.

I've been eyeing this for quite a long time (almost a whole year, I guess), but it's only recently that I decided to take the dive. And alas, I bought it for a much more expensive price :(:

In case you don't know what it is, here's another photo.

It's already a bit damaged, with some of the alcantara on the steering wheel rubbed off.

I also bought this, but I was too lazy to take pictures and go through the whole process again:

(Image taken from Google, not my property.)
It was either this or a 1/18 Ferrari 458 Spider by Hot Wheels Elite. Although the Spider has a tan interior, I opted for the coupe version, because it looks better IMO. I was also hoping for one that comes with a beige interior, but the shop only had the version with the black interior, so I had to compromise.

Pics won't come to the Scale Model thread until several months later.

Gotta spend that $150 Amazon gift card. Yes, it's a hard life I live:

On the suggestion of @Mike_grpA, this 2TB model will be slotted into the PS4 once it arrives. Hooray for no longer having to shuffle my games around!

I only just found out this has the '98 Bulls team. Bought it more or less on that alone, but also, it was $20.

My current XBL expires in May thanks to a bunch of free 3-monthers, so grabbed this since it was on sale.

I've waited so long to buy this, they've gone and reunited. Still, an utterly fantastic film.

Plus, I decided to bite the bullet and get signed up to Amazon Prime with the order (or at least, the 30 day free trial). Knocked $10 off my order, but I especially liked how Prime is activated before you place the order, so everything is bumped to two day shipping at no extra charge. Class move, Amazon!

Unfortunately, probably due to the holidays, "two day shipping" means the bottom three items won't arrive until next Monday, while the hard drive is expected to arrive on the 30th.

I got a $75 gift card from Amazon as well. Here's what I used it for.

Since I was running out of storage space on my lone 1TB drive, I decided to get another 1TB drive, a Seagate 2TB drive showed up for a good price, but it's Seagate...

Got myself access to these on the iRacing service, and some tracks to run in the season. Really hype about this. :D

If you get one of the Seagate slim external HDDs, they have a Samsung spinpoint 2TB HDD in them, which are excellent drives.

One thing I truly miss with the Tacoma is the ability to have HID lights, tonight I filled that void:

They are retrofitted OEM lights, with proper solenoids to make them bi-xenon. They come with a 5000k HID kit and everything I need to get them hooked up to my truck. It'll be nice to have lights that don't produce an obscene amount of glare and that actually make driving at night easier.

I got some money from my relatives for Christmas and I finally bought a Xbox One controller chatpad with it! I've been meaning to get one of these for a while. It makes entering passwords or just searching something significantly less tedious than before.

I also pre-ordered Resident Evil 7.

I received a golden and silver mirror cube for Christmas. I have not messed with them yet... :scared:

Good luck on the 5x5! I don't think I ever plan on adventuring past the 3x3, but if I do I would choose a 5x5.

Then, I proceeded to buy myself this 2x2x2. :)

D-FantiX 50mm Cyclone Boys 2x2 Speed Cube Stickerless

I almost popped it trying to handle it out of the box. I just kind of dealt with it though as I don't feel like messing with the adjustable tensions. After about 4-5 solves I have a handle on it pretty good now. :D Love it!

I decided to sticker because of how much I liked the stickerless 3x3 I bought a while back.
I have bought my first cube that is not a Rubik's brand. And is actually built for speed solving. Should be here Wednesday with my free "2 Day Shipping" that I got for being a college student. :D

Also it is stickerless, which is something I have been wanting for quite some time now. I will do a little review in the Rubik's Cube Thread when I get some time spent with it.
