Absolutely brilliant things.

Huh. My dad and I have been actively looking at a CX-5 for him. Spent the whole night comparing and contrasting.
Is it the GT trim?

Yup, Grand Touring trim. It doesn't have the technology package so no radar guided cruise control or lane departure warning, but I don't think those are really needed.

I had $10 in my PSN account that I had to use before tomorrow so I just bought:

Looks just dumb enough to be fun and is local 4 play co-op so the kids and friends can all play together.

Also, stopped at a grocery store I never go to and came across the Holy Grail:

I haven't seen them in town for YEARS and they cost twice as much as the other Altoids flavors online. Unfortunately there was only one left.

That is unfortunate. They are the best.
Not to rub salt into your cinnamon flavored wounds, but I can find these almost anywhere around here. And, they cost the same as all other Altoids. I'd trade with you but doughnuts don't mail well. :dopey:

This one's a bit old. As of 11/28/16, I am a homeowner.

Fourth try's the charm!

Hacienda High-Test is open for business.

If any GTP members find themselves in Kansas City, hit me up. Don't pay for a hotel.

Very nice. 👍

The thing that confuses me, as I had a friend a few years back from the same city, is that Kansas City isn't in Kansas but Missouri...

We couldn't fit Kansas City in one state, so we took up two.

Looks great, HT! Congrats!

There's both. And they're right next to each other. :boggled:

Thanks! It's a fun place. As for homeownership, it's my first rodeo. The leaves never end.

Only one of them still is with us, though.

I think this marks the 12th Uniqlo item I've picked up since September. It really will make up the majority of my wardrobe by summer.

Half of my gear is from Uniqlo. I like it because it's one of the few brands that don't have logos on most of their stuff and it's also good quality for reasonable prices.

I even bought the shirt I wore at my wedding there because it was a 3rd of the price of the exact same shirt from Lacoste just without a croc on the breast.

Moto G4 to replace my old Lumia. As much as I like Windows phone it can be annoying without much app support so decided to try Android.

And some Five Ten shoes for biking as my current footware are finally falling apart.

Yeah, it's really hard to say no so long as you like the basic minimalism. I'm not one for shouty clothing, so it's perfect.

I have a white oxford from there that's nearly identical to a Band of Outsiders one I bought years earlier. Despite being 1/5 the price, it's functionally identical (and has actually worn better over the years).

What helps even more is that, for whatever reason, the last few times I've bought stuff there, it's rang up as the US price, not the CAN one. Maybe it's just always been a sale I was unaware of!

TaoTronics TT-BH06

The Parasom's are still doing well but the small battery/control box is driving me crazy as it inevitably works its way over my shoulder then starts bouncing around. The ear pieces on the Tao's are obviously larger but at least there's no infernal control box to annoy me.

A custom table frame.
1760mmx560mmx724mm

I have the tabletop(well benchtop) in the garage.

And 2 more of these to fix the issues that popped up.

That's about all I need for now to complete my detailing kit. And by need, I mean want :D

Never used the Gold Class Leather Conditioner because you know, cloth/velour but all the other Gold Class products I've used are top notch. 👍

Today, I finally bought my new laptop as my existing Sony Vaio cries for mercy when I start using it for anything more demanding than Microsoft Word. It is badly needed as my Photoshop needs are getting beyond what it can cope with. This is what I got...

HP 17-x062sa
17.3" Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED Screen
Windows 10
Intel® Core™ i5-6200U Processor
RAM: 8GB / Storage: 1TB HDD
Graphics: AMD Radeon R7 M440 2GB
Up to 8 hours battery life.

It is a gorgeous piece of kit with a lovely brushed aluminium finish.

I've torn my new GTPlanet T-shirt already. Wore it for 2 hours then caught it on a :censored:ing nail. Have to buy a new one now. :grumpy:
