My opinion: Sell PS3, GT5 and wheel. Buy X360, Forza 4 and wheel.

Or save money for future PC rig and PC sims (Assetto Corsa, pCars, GTR3, rFactor 2, etc).

In the meanwhile try to get out the best from GT5. Take a look at the Arcade mode thread.

It's nothing bad by owning GT5 and FM4, if you are racing game fan and have the budget for it. Then go buy a 360 and enjoy FM4 and GT5, so I did! And I don't regret it. This way I don't miss out the best of both and don't have to be jealous to the other site.

Another Forza related adjacent thread, I don't understand the fascination? Sure if you happen to own a xbox360 go ahead purchase it purchase dlcs for it. But why mention it?

How many people have a ps3 and Xbox? I don't most of my mates don't they have one or the other? I tried the Xbox once or RROD on me and I promptly put it on eBay to get my money back.

If people are bored with gt5 they aren't trying hard enough challenge ya self to do silly stuff do nutburgiring in a kombi or slow cars try unlocking the top gear test track god I've tried lol.

I also have no interest in a porsche package and I am over the constant nissans you think that all the content that gt4 had with the fpr and hsv Australian cars maybe pd could release a Australian pack or hell announce gt6 is in production.

I've got to admit that Turn 10 is extremley up to date to cars and DLC. They hand out the newest models even before they are released. Like the 2013 Viper. And many other awesome European and American cars. While GT5's Premium carlist is kind of poor and not reasonable+outdated in many ways. Like why a Fiat 500 over a Toyota Supra? Why a Suzuki Cappucino over a Buggati Veryon or why a Prius over a Pagani Zonda? Questions over Questions but in the end it is how it is, and we've got to enjoy what we have. Because we can't change it anyways.

I love porsches but if they didn't come to GT5 i'm telling them we are the winners here how can porsche leave GRAN TURISMO 5 franchise for some new arcade-ish game ? i'm saying that after i played forza 4, lets leave forza alone because thats really off topic in fact its off " gtplanet ".


About the DLC i want the new R35 with 545 hp, BUT, i won't call a dlc its some sort of commercial or ad for the GT-R there is alot of super cars getting released around the world and there are super fantastic, remember the first dlc i think it came with like 5 RM cars ? i would like a collection like these, not RM i mean the collection its self, 5 or 8 super car dlc and enough of stupid friendly environment cars, this game for driving i know driving include all cars but this a game which allows you to drive cars you dream about.

When someone wants to reply to me i really hope to really understand my idea of how GT5 dlc's should be like.

GT5 is better in physics i think and in the quality of the cars... but the premium models are so dated....ok a new Aventator and a Vantage V12 its ok but what about so many new cars.....

It's possible that they haven't released any new DLC because they are working on Gran Turismo 6 as we speak. Either that, or they have something really big in store for us !

I somewhat agree with this post. You know that once PD goes quiet, it's quite possible that they are working on something really big. But as I said before, they are working on Gran Turismo 6 and they might not bother with any more DLC for Gran Turismo 5.

Agreed. Gran Tuismo 4 was the best game if you was looking for viariety in tracks. And I would quite like to relive driving around GT4's tracks in GT5's physics and graphics.

We need amazing cars like the Pagani Zonda Cinque/760RS/etc, Koenigseggs, a new mustang Boss/GT/GT500 '13, next gen Viper, the Acura NSX They teased MONTHS ago, the list goes on.. And PD simply hasn't delivered. Kind of tests your patience when an enthusiasts game such as GT5 gives you less (by far) DLC then a game that is all about HP

I like your optimism, but who knows. Hopefully you're right because, as it stands right now, GT5 has pretty much ran its course for me. With just one more trophy to go for platinum, I losing interest due to the lack of variety. Don' get me wrong, I'll still play the game, but unless they spice things up alittle, more of my time will be spent on Forza.

Agreed Pd really needs too put some better cars in. Forza is really owning every game out there on car department. Also everything is PREMIUMMMM...

As other people stated, GT is well behind in car choice, about >400 cars behind Forza to be exact. I'm not asking for PD to release a 1000000000 car pack (like everyone expects ), but they should try listening to the fans this time and get an interesting choice of cars. 6 great, unique cars are better than 1000 identical cars, which is kind of the problem the GT series is at.

Thats my main complaint with GT5, all the nearly identical cars. The Skylines, Miatas, etc. Not to knock GT too hard, but I just think that thats a cheap way to go and kinda insulting if want my opinion. I think that is GT5's biggest fault and that strategy really needs to be looked at if PD expects to remain competitive in the racing genre. (spelling?)
