I have no ads at all.

Same, but I don't get ads on any Linux machine anyway. :P

Group you need to remember, this forum isn't officially affilated with PD, so you need to expect some ads, unless you download Ad Blocker for your web browser.

Did you guys check out the pics from FD tech day on Wrecked? There's an RB powered Kouki S14 i like, but i don't know who drives it.

Yeah, Walker Wilkinson has swapped an LS7 in his S13 for the SR. I was sad, but happy at the same time. I guess it'll let him be more competitive this year, not that he wasn't last year. Kinda like Matt Powers...

I heard that too, but it gives him more of a chance with the power uppage :-P . Now I just think that aasbo is a miracle worker with a flat 4!

Oh you ain't heard nothing yet, till you watch this.

Listen to it roar.

I have no idea how Aasbo does it, I guess it's just a natural Norwegian thing for him.

That sounds.... poop :/

Edit: Now this is more like it!

But how much more torque?

Also Aasbo uses a inline 4 not flat 4, lol.

LS7 is 500HP and torque. The SR had 470 or 480 HP and somewhere around low 400 or high 300 torque IIRC.
Swapping the engine for 100lb-ft of torque. Not sure if that makes much sense.

Edit: FD's website says 500HP and 440wtq with the SR. I know it's a bit less tho.

I'm pretty sure the LS is lighter then an SR aswell. Plus his SR was highly modified and would start becoming unreliable, the LS has basic mods to it, still lots of potential for power and reliablity.

I've never really been a fan of the V8, always prefered the sound of a raspy 4 cylinder or beefy straight 6, but you can see why they go V8.

Yeah they are. Low brain drifters have a highly enough modified ls3 in there's, with at least 650hp and 8.5k rpm.

I can see why everybody is going V8, still hate it tho.
D1SL should be the only ruleset for competitive drifting all over the world.

The one in the LBD S13 is a race spec engine out of a Mosler, lol.

Yea I don't like it, lol.

D1SL, Drift Muscle and MSC over everything, lol.
