Personally, I would've just bought a new CB and opened the controller, ripped out the old one and put the new one in. CB's wouldn't cost much I'd imagine...

Idk, but I'd do it if i could... I opened both controllers up to try and fix them yesterday... my mum is getting a refund from the 'new' broken one, without us sending it back... so i'll mod that one with old DS2 thumbsticks...

And i'll probably get me a new CB for the original DS3 that I have 👍

Here's what to do. Complain to Ebay that it wasn't how it was described. You get to keep the controller and you get your money back. Simples. I plan on doing this if I buy a DSLR and it has a tiny mark on it.
