That's blogtastic, finally some good news. I read through the whole thing but I think I missed the specifics of when its suppose to be back on, I hope it isn't Friday and more like Tuesday.

I was just starting to get into A-Spec too, oh well.

Yep, still no mention of a date but hey I was right that PS Plus members would get something and even normal PSN users get Plus for a month, this is the gratitude Sony shows to its true supporters like us that just grinned and took it as annoying as it was, especially over the Easter holidays.

I'm now looking forward to what PD announces as updates for GT5, I reckon they have missed at least one seasonal update and hopefully they put up some big rewarding XP to make up for the time lost and it would also really help me get to unlocking the Vettel challenge.

PS: Cro I'm going to put a couple beaut pics in your gallery as they fit perfectly with your pics of the Fezzas, not sure if maybe you want to turn yours into a team gallery but I would like that and think it would make it better possibly, just a thought. We could have photo battles, SFX: The photto battle team haha!

Aw man that would be awesome, some big payout and nice XP from a seasonal. I haven't gotten a proper sum of money from a race since the old GTR SSR5 race. 👎

I can only guess a moderator over there has taken it as hijacking your gallery or something totally random, you like the idea of making it a team gallery or should I just make my own?

Hmmm, I kind of thought thats what the media section in this thread was for. We could make a new "team gallery" I suppose, I made mine as pretty much a place for just my crappy photography. 👍

It would get full too quick in here, maybe i'll make my own and we can all pick a photo from eachothers' galleries weekly or something for in here?

Sorry I just disappeared last night, I couldn't feel my face and I was freaking out.

What's everyone up to?

Nah, I was just slipping into the darkness hahaha...

I'm watching movies right now and I feel useless. I want to get on GT5 but meh.

Just a quick question Cro, are we going to be using the 'real' track edge physics for our drift lobbies once PSN is back up?

I've been using it most of the time now and i'm tuning with it on. I would just like to know if this is what I should be tuning on.

Nice Vid Fadam; is the fat guy an english driver in the EDC? Vlasblom also competes in the EDC right?

Yea he drive the 350z in EDC. And i'm not sure about Vlasblom competing, i don't follow EDC at all

Why not? Not your kinda guys or style? They have (had) some nice locations. A lot bigger then here in the NL.
We had two drift comps but they recently joined forces. It will be called NLDC i guess..

Yeah track edge will be set to real, that's all I've been using these days, it just feels better now that I've gotten use to it.

And what's everyone up to anyways? Hasn't been much posting here. 👎

EDC is more of a demo for the UK Time Attack, rather then a proper championship like BDC & Drift Allstars

The rear slip angle is greater than my dangle.

Edit: The Challenger is feeling like melted jello. That's not good, but it might be me.

hi guys im interested in joining you guys. is it invitation only?
Thanks Alex

WRS racer gets +1 for being cool.👍

Well between me and you and whoever else reads this post the WRS has been pretty boring the past few weeks..

Just hang out with us when PSN is finally back on :grumpy:

yeah finally....

anyway a couple of questions, previously i have been using DS3 to drift but as psn is down ive decided to try and learn with my G27. Using an S15. Im making quite alot of progress but im often finding im understeering into the corner before the apex. Firstly any advice for this? and secondly in regards to the diff settings. im often fining im leaving 1's instead of 11's down on the tarmac what kinda diff settings give "diff lock" all the way though, or do you guys run stock diffs?

Yeah I never got back into the racing series' when GT5 came out.

As for the wheel drifting I also use a G27 and find camber settings and springs to be very helpful for the balance side of it and where you mention differential settings Adavicro got me onto using a 60-60-60 setting and I honestly think once you learn to be smooth on the wheel it's very helpful for shifting weight in corners which helps get rid of the understeer somewhat.

Alternatively just go for more angle on entry and learn to catch it further, I can literally bounce it off full-lock within a second or two of iniitiating a drift now i've learnt how to be smoother and faster.

do you keeep the force feedback on and at what level? i find it hard to go from lock to lock quick enough to catch the drift

I use FFB setting usually at only 1 or 2. I doubt any real world drift car is going to be set up much heavier than that and i'm not looking for a workout on PS3 I just want a fun, chilled time and this setting is perfect for me.

Just practice I think is what gets you comfortable with 'flicking' the wheel, you get smoother and feel those points where it's time to spin her pretty hard and quick. Full-lock is more for extreme angle or speed though so most of the time i'm only using around 50% of steering.

I'm a man. I assemble shutters.

When I get done workin in a few hours anyone want to random it up in a party? I got the GT5 A-Spec itch and it needs scratching, so yeah.

I also just ate enough Burger King for two people in about 12.6 seconds.

Noms.
