Anyone by chance in a party? I'm about to hop on GT5 and want to talk tuning and random nonsense. I must cure that understeer.

Cal we're just doing time attacks for each of the lower classes for a bit of a variety. Ive yet to really try the d'Azur run but I have roughly 1:52:xx on London and 1:54:xx on Clubman Route 5. I will definitely be doing some more runs tomorrow.

In drifting news, got the Challenger up to 778hp and 798 torque after a bit of breaking in offline, I cant wait for a solid 800 torque to come out of it. I've been dialing in my tune for it as well, it can now hold absurd amounts of lock/angle without melting the front tires.

Yay. :)
 
I just watched a crazy old Top Gear, where it was the first episode with James May, they set a Nissan Sunny on fire with a jet dragster. I laughed.

It really made me want to drift the TGTT, how do you unlock it again? I need to finally do whatever it is to get it.

I'm pretty sure you have to gold the first tgtt challenge in the special events with the VW bus.

Also, just watched my first episode of the Initial D anime and its pretty cool actually, I didnt think I would like it. Watching the second episode of the series now. 👍

I've been meaning to check that out on Netflix but I never get around to it. I usually end up just watching Top Gear.

Yeah they put up all the TG episodes so thats awesome, but dude this Initial D is freakin sweet.

...and "other services" is probably boring things that have little to do with PSN's multiplayer component, the only thing people like you and I really want. :(

It will have to do with the PSN Store and things involving credit cards, this is what they'll mostly bulk up with more security, They would also still be trying to transfer all current profiles along with these details onto the new server via new encryption which will probably make it take longer.👎

Mr ICan'tFindFreeRunOnTheMenu, haha I haven't even looked at which one was on Clubman Route 5. But doing 3 different cars on 3 different tracks is crazy when trying to learn tuning. I had another half hour in my VTEC Turbo cheat car and yes 59:xxx is very possible.👍

I was going to update the OP but my computers acting up so I said screw it. Man, after watching Initial D I've been all psyched up about touge/drifting, been glued to Youtube ever since. The Osaka touge videos are especially awesome, its just a shame about PSN.

Edit: strangely enough in most real life drift videos with "grass roots" type of cars they appear to be using a comfort medium type of tire, you can tell by how their cars behave. Interesting...
 
I think it might be down to lack of power and not being able to burn the tyres properly

Maybe this is a better example to comfort mediums in real life, you've probably seen it a million times but its worth another watch. Its like Initial D haha.

Yea i see what you mean, i guess just mix it up between hards and mediums, which ever you feel conftable for the car i guess. You on XBL now?
