To be honest, Cro. I only have 1 or 2 "true" friends I can rely on, the rest I just class as people I associate with from time to time. But yea, you know you can get at me any time, you got me on facebook, xbl, psn ect just get at me if you need to talk or anything man.

I might have to keep playing GT5 a bit because its the closest I'll ever get for a while, and I garuntee at least some of that wheel work I do will transfer to real life, no matter how much the haters hate it.

Edit: been looking into it and there's actually quite a bit of drifting here in Arkansas. I talked to an old friend tonight that moved to Benton, AR and he told me there's a drift scene up there with teams and everything. He said that every weekend a group pays the owners of a Walmart to slide in part of a parking lot after hours.

And so my journey begins. Wish me luck, I need it. A lot of it.
 
@Cal - I won't be hopping on tonight so go ahead and play Socom or whatever. I'm about to pull one of my teeth out with pliers. Seriously. haha

@Cro - I'll be hitting you up tomorrow with a PM. I was going to do it tonight but I'm in way to much pain and have taken way to many painkillers to even think logically for it. *Edit: After reading your last post just a second ago.. that's partially what I was going to say.*

Well from what i've been testing with my tunes. Around -1.5 to -3.0 front camber and between -0.5 and -1.0 with no toe. Medium springs and slightly softer damping with soft ARBs. For your diff set it to about 50, 50, 25. then tuen your gears to your power.

How long until anyone will be getting on? I'm going to play SOCOM for an hour or two then hopefully get some sleepy drifts going. 👍

PS: Also sent an email about warranty on my G27 and whatnot, waiting for them to get back to me on what my options are so I think i'll get some reply tomorrow, night all.

No drifting for me, going to try to be productive and get some things done around the house, if you see me on its just because I got a movie playing in the background on Netflix.
 
Good luck with your journey. Id like to see some vids if you're going to drift there man.

i could be tempted for some smoking later..might have a few games of cod first and got some other chores to do first give me an hor or two.
 
I got the new OP Flashpoint, probably not going to be drifting until I beat it, which could be a while, its a really tough game

Well, I just got done playing GT5 for about 20 minutes. It was the first time I've played in a few days and the first time ever completely sober.

Seriously? I've been wasting all this time playing this crap? I joined a few random rooms and noticed the staggering amount of little kids, overweight adults and all-around idiots. It was painful really, and felt like a chore.

So that's the breaking point for me fellas, I won't be loading up anytime soon. I'd rather concentrate my efforts toward my real life endeavors. I will still post but there's no way I'm wasting any more time sliding in a virtual world, at least for now. I would still like to be "leader" as I anticipate a return in the future, but to hopefully give us a nice chance for flourishing and survival, I'm offering a second co-leader position to Pwner if he's up for it.

Well, I'm going on a long walk now to get this awful taste out of my mouth.

Edit: I'm sorry if I caused any inconvenience, its time though.

Thanks man. I'm sure I'll get back into it, gamings in my DNA, played my first shooting game at age 2 so... yeah. One things for certain though, and its that I need to learn how to be happy and content without artificial dopamine levels, if you catch my drift. I hadn't been thinking about alcohol but I'm missing sweet ole Mary.

Its all good though, I can't be all foggy drifting in a real car now can I?

For a bit of more decent news, I'm rediscovering my love for cenima. I'm currently halfway through watching a Norwegian film called "Trollhunter" and its the best, most awesome film I've seen this year and I haven't even finished it.

Edit: here's the trailer, don't watch it if you plan on seeing it soon to not spoil anything, I know I won't watch it til the movies over. I recorded it on a channel called "HD Net Movies", so if you get that channel try to get a recording of it when it re-airs.

I feel the same way when I play in random lobbies, the only lobbies i'll play in anymore are SFX lobbies, or offline. And the only reason for that is the atmosphere SFX lobbies have, its more of a social thing for me, we all share the same enthusiastic interest that is drifting. And SFX is more of a break from the real world for me, I deal with a ton of stressful crap on a day to day basis and drifting with the lot of you is my relax time. I totally understand what your going through Cro, I just hope in the future when you do get things sorted out that you can find a bit of time to still chill out with the rest of us and share some laughs

It was the coolest movie I've seen all year. Its like the perfect mockumentary.

It's called Trials Evolution. You can check it on youtube. It wasn't much, but it's still a new Trials game and I'm pumped.
 
Outside environments and multiplayer! The two things I most wanted from a new Trials game, aweeeesoooome. I probably can't play that clear eyed either though haha. I'm sure by the time it comes out I'll have a 240 or something anyways and will be blowing all my money on used tires. :)
 
Im sorry to say it, but I think it's my time for a break from gaming aswell. I'll probably be gone all summer because I really need to get a job sorted and find a place of my own. I'll still pop in the forums from time to time, but my brief conversation with Cro on Facebook brother day made me realise I'm wasting to much of my time on gaming rather then trying to do the things I want to do. So it's goodbye from me for a while. Sorry again guys
