Cal - come at me bro xD my E92 is matte black and I worked endlessly just to get 300,000CR to buy a Lexus LFA, to find out I got it at a certain level >_> So I spent the 300k CR on a C63 AMG, lol. I want to make my IS F, ZR1 & E86 (Z4) matte black... but i don't know how to dupe... and i don't want to keep buying LFA's :(
 
again i havent been around lately, new job and also trying sort my business out so this is taking up alot of my time. also another thing a mate of mine just bought an e36 325 with a welded diff so we been playing and sliding the hell outa that the past day or two.

Calibre - I hate people that do shiz like that ¬_¬ When I was staying at my mates house a couple of weeks ago, I was online for a bit... Didn't have my wheel at the time, and i'm not the greatest of controller drifters, but damnnnn... some people need to take a look at themselves... I'm sitting in my 540HP E92 on comfort:mediums and out of no where this 600+ Viper comes roaring through my line on comfort:hards...? Total ass-wipe.

There is no bandwagon you fool. The 240 is only one of the reasonable options as a starter drift car here in the US.

It's a bandwagon.. everyone drives them. *and by everyone i mean, 240 fanboys, and a like* There is always the option of buying a Volvo, or an E30/36?

He uses a G25 and has been doing so on LFS for the past 5 years or so I believe. His wheel sounds like a driving force though, I shudder to imagine the forces that wheel has survived over that time. He's very smooth and i'm spending lots of time with him to get his tandeming skills up to par. Has massive potential both drifting and in TT's with me, having already proven he is more than a match for my speed.👍

There's a reason everyone starts out in them. Cheap, easy to get LOTS of after market parts for them, cheap to fix ect
 
I wish they were cheap here. Not a chance of getting one with all parts still attached for any near 5k. Skylines actually seem to be showing up around me more for much cheaper, unlucky you dont get the older R32 and R33 GTS-T models as much as we do, they might be chunkier but they sound like hell breaking loose with a few nice mods.

Oh and no offence to BkS as I think he really loves em but e30's have the biggest fanboys. How a car could go from being considered a mechanical rust bucket to some epic godlike drift monster is beyond me, at least JDM cars have their roots.
 
We got alot of R32/33 GTS-T models over here. It's the R34 GTS-T thats rare over here
 
It's more E36 fanboys, than E30 fanboys. I know E30's are used A LOT in europe and russia, just because they're cheap, easy to fix and there's thousands of parts available. But yes cal, I love my E30's :D

Pwner, what's Zexi's LFS username? I haz LFS S2, too :D
 
@Cro - Cal pretty much answered the wheel question haha. Dude is a beast, especially in a Trueno. Not sure if he is a member here yet, but I think he will be joining in on the shenanigans. *It's espanic, Zexi is his other name.*

@Bks - Not sure what his LFS name is but I'll let you know.
 
Yep, he is now signed up here even though I thought it may been best not to for his type of personality, but we were scrolling through last night looking for racing rigs, seems like it's going to be a race of who builds their setup first, only difference I don't have to do nothing other than design it specific to my needs. But yeah when I speak to him next i'll get him to come in and introduce himself for all to say hi.

PS: he's my tandem twin, we're spending heaps of time tuning similarly built cars and he may have an HD-PVR so might be on the road to getting a good quality vid without floppy wheel flappers. I'm so sick of watching videos with front wheels flailing about everywhere it's like my pet peeve, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Love you Pwner.

EDIT: two days now, damn this cold weather. I don't think I have it in me to fall asleep now as i'm off to my first day of work in about 2-3 years in 6 hours just about. Might jump back on to chattle or host a lobby for y'all to get no lag tandems hehe.

EDIT 2: I just watched a LFS drift vid and all I can say is welcome to GT5 Zexi!

Well... Hopefully in the next few years, I'll be able to buy an E30 and get it drift prep'd. Enthusiast isn't the word for me... E30's are like my children :D really I'm just a BMW nut all round. I have major plan's for the E30 though :P need cash first though.

I've 4 E30s, all still kinda projects though :guilty:

a heavily modded sterling silver 318iS,
another white 318iS shell that I was going to build a drift car from but shell is really too good,
zinnober red 316i being built as an S54 engined drift car
Malachite green 328 Touring with full M-tec kit and bbs splities in the pipeline(daily driver at the moment)


Have a E34 M5 that I'm breaking too and an '84 chromie that I might get hold of to stick the engine into :D
 
Not everyone in the drift forum is still in grade school.

This section is going to hell in a hand basket thanks to a handful of short-term experts. I think Cro and Adam chose a good time albeit not good for us. If things continue the way they look guys, don't be surprised if this section gets closed down like has been warned before.

Doesn't matter to me. Once my computer is fixed, I'll set up a SFX forum.

Will do tonight if my brain has not esploded! Oh and zexi said he possibly has the stigs suit minus helmet already. I'm going to get him to send it over to me so I can see if it's real, he seemed pretty genuine about it which could only leave one alternative to the real thing: Zexi being a complete goose and getting a plain one confused with the stignesses' adornments.

Cro, forget that, I already did, not seeing your post, i'm not fussed mate, this way I don't have constantly think about if you and Adam have given up and aren't coming back or not, i'm not the only one either. ah well, no more comfort mediums messin up everyone elses lines. YAY!

Only difference between me and Cro, he has to talk behind backs instead of to their faces, how many times has someone from another team left our lobby then he unloads his rubbish, cowardly.
