It doesn't really bother me that my wheel broke to be honest, its sort of refreshing as strange as that seems.

I'll still update the thread though, or Fadam/Pwner can make a new one, your choice. Its not like it really needs updating besides the odd member being added to the roster.

Perhaps one day, I'll be using a better wheel though, DFGTs are garbage.

HAHAHAHA! Try getting ahold of Logitech and tell them it broke. They may give you a half of a G25 or G27. Stig told me that one when his G27 broke. So he started using his DFGT and it started to break to. And he says they told him he will get a half off coupon. So wont hurt to try right?

Ah, a good long break is what I need actually, in fact this week I just went without GT5 is the longest I've been without gaming in about 20 years... Sonic the Hedgehog was my babysitter. ;)

Well, after a short discussion with Fadam, we came to the conclusion that he will now be leading the GT5 side of things, and I'm taking it upon myself to offer a co-leader position to Commodore, hopefully you guys will start getting some sound recruits. 👍
 
Anyone able to share a Hachi or S14? my used dealership just won't give out :(
 
Been viewing the thread every now and then, unfortunate to see you leave Cro but life goes on, congrats Fadam, lead the team in the right direction 👍

Why couldn't PD just make the dealership system like Forza's? So if you wanted a specific car, you could just go get it... >_>

Because PD got so focused on the graphics and physics they didn't have times to make cars sound realistic. Or forget to realize about the amount of good cars this game is lacking. And the customizations obviously was put in last minute with crap wheels mostly crappy body kits.

Oh well we got what we got :)

Did you know they used vaccums to make the sounds of cars in gt5?

I'm talking about the sounds... I'm talking about buying cars from the dealerships... It's so fustrating having to wait until the car you want to buy finally comes up. I didn't know that, but thanks for that piece of info :sly:
 
I've got a girlfriend, a job, and I still find time to play gran turismo, i'm confused. And I mean this in the most respectful way possible. :indiff:

Anybody on IRacing? I just bought a 3 month membership for $12, pretty cheap and apparently its pretty damn good 👍
 
Commodore - If I had IRacing, I'd jump on with ya, but I only have LFS :P

P.S. Adam the hachi you gave me now has so much torque that it spins through 6th gear :sly: 👍
 
I work every now and then at my father's company building fancy shutters, but the work is sporadic and I make just enough to get by. I was doing a few things "on the side" but not anymore.

Time for proper work.




Edit: in all actuality, I'm getting away from gaming to find other things that I enjoy in life, that shouldn't be all that profound in my opinion...

Edit2: that means you broke the car Bk, in respect to Team Mouse, Tsuchiya, and Takumi, take some power out.
 
IRacing makes GT5 & Forza feel like your playing mario cart, I just finished a 2 hour laguna seca practice. It blew my mind.

$12 for 3 months, I highly recommend everyone gives this a shot.
 
After a night like tonight I have to stand back and say, "What the hell have I been doin' wastin' my time playing video games for?"
