Yeah man, we only live like 2 hours away from eachother :D

I find folks from Northern Ontario have a lot in common with us east coast boys (I'm originally from Halifax, N.S.) not sure why exactly but all my best buddies here are from up North. There is a huge difference I find between southern Ontario and Northern Ontario. Be proud of where you're from buddy.👍

Edit: Off topic I just finished my first season in Iracing and got promoted. And all I have to say is man this game gets expensive quick, I need to purchase 3 new cars for my new season in order to advance to a C class license and the cars are $12 each. And the tracks are $15 each, its insane but its just so addicting that I'm forking out the cash. Just a heads up if anybody was thinking about trying this game out, its going to break the bank.

Lookin' good Bk.. except for the end.. and the music. :P

Yeah my DFGT went all chang chou on me :( haha, it's a bugger too because I have the settings on at FFB 10 and Simulation experience. Oh why I'm sure you know exactly who is playing in the background? ;)

FFB at 10 is the only way to go.

Totally agree, a lot of people use 5 or lower and I dont understsnd why.

I think mine is set to about 5 or 6. At first i really needed to feel the ffb "too much" because i didnt know what to feel for. But now that i (was) used to it i dont need it to feel what the car is doing. plus it just makes me tired too.. I aint that buff you know..

You don't have to be buff, it's a plastic toy for Christ's sake. Why do people make it seem like drifting a wheel is a big workout? If you lift up your hands to your mouth to eat a sandwich, you're strong enough for 10 FFB.

The point in having a wheel is having that tactile feeling, with more feedback essentially you get more "feeling."

I'm not buff..infact I've really no muscle at all XD yet, I've my FFB at 10 and feeling on Simulation... like a BAWWWS!!! :P

When the force feedback is set to 10 I find its less work, the wheel counter steers itself you just have to catch it and make small inputs and use the throttle to control the drift, but thats just my driving style, I could see if you have a heavy foot then you might have to make bigger inputs with the wheel and how it could get tiring

It was good drifting with you yesterday commodore, Thanks for the tips about the Stang, i dont know what the problem was before but now its like a completely different car. 👍

Same to you buddy, i'll drift with you anytime 👍 The Mustang is still a work in progress though, still haven't completely solved that understeer issue, but hopefully by the weekend i'll have it solved!

I hate that! That is a major problem with that darn car! :ouch: But i'll continue to tune it also and see if we can both figure it out. 👍

I'm pretty sure it was ADTR, yeah?

Anybody skidding?
My trick for the mustang was to Add some Ballast to the nose that stopped it understeeeing.
I'm coming online for an hour or so tops as got work in the morning,

yeah as ballast as far forward as it will go

Ill have to try that. Makes kinda sense making all weight in the front there wont be any in back which will make it throw out easier. But at the same point it kinda doesnt make sense, cause thats all it wants to do it get its heavy nose in the ground and go straight.

you say your front goes heavy? if it goes heavy try stiffening the front springs and reducing the ballast, mine went all light, so i added about 50kgs as far forward and thats really sorted the understeer. what are your settings btw?

I just have a hard time getting the back out easy like say my 370z or such. Im just always on the ebrake, and i HATE that! Im not sure of the settings cause im at work, but i can get them in once i get home in 4 hours  Sorry :grumpy:

I would never add weight to a car, you want as little as possible. Just tune the suspension properly.

I have it as light as possible without adding the ugly hoodpins. And Commadore helped me a bit last night and its better but still has its moments.

it pains me to argue cro, but i wouldn't class ballast as a weight..can be a bonus at times! yes of course tuning the suspension is a must first off, but ever get the little niggles that just cant be sorted but a tweak of camber or toe etc? just understanding how adding just a few kg's of weight to the nose or tail can make such a differance is a must! yes in track racing added ballast is bad, (such as touring cars faster cars often have to carry extra ballast to make it more competitive for the slower ones) but in events where handleing is key (drifting, auto slalom gymkhana etc etc) a couple of kgs in a certain place is usefull!

I think I'm gonna jump online in about 30-40 mins, AND i'll have turtle beaches :D! but sadly no wheel cause i'm at my mates house.

Congratulations Bk, now that you have a mic, I'll add you to the roster. Fill out a doo-hickey and I'll add it when I get a chance. It'll most likely be tomorrow though as I'm going out tonight.

Can you say...
