There were some strategy variations for race 2 this week. And not just on tire selection.

Endurance data 3_26_18.jpeg

Initially I had a different strategy in mind. But I couldn't get around Tex and got a lot of draft following him for 8 laps which helped a bit on fuel. I dummied into my original plan instead of switching over to softs for stint 2.

Just got back home.

You go to school or teach? @TEX36

Professor Tex? Teaching advanced courses on how to be a BA

Am working full time in the High School Special Ed, and Substituting in HS classes when the teacher is absent, or off campus.

Not really much of a teacher, just an adult in the room - but learning how to help the kids.

Based on the elimination votes from last night, the following combo will be our first race tomorrow night:

Car: Mazda 787B 1991 (Gr. 1)
Track: Autodromo Nazionale Monza @ 15:00
Laps: 28
Tires: RM
Tire/Fuel Wear: Off

And I’ll be back to host, now with a lighter wallet.

Hey guys I'm new to SNAIL. How do I get involved with the Endurance Series?

I too, am curious about this endurance league...please advise on participation...

You are both welcome to join in our races tomorrow night, and we’d be happy to have you!

However, you’ll be ineligible for winning our weekly prize (choosing the combo for race #2) until next season, which starts on 4/30.

I may sit this week out, I'm awful in group 1 cars and don't want to spoil the race for anyone else. I'd love to try next week!

Great night of racing. Good selection @TEX36! Got a bit close to you at one point, tried to back off without putting myself into @Neutty behind, and put myself into the wall. Did I make contact and damage you?

Thanks again for hosting these events @BradESPN. I'm really enjoying the format.

I forgot. Did anyone save the replay?

I am between choosing a dirt track or stage X...

So me and @Zero76464 have been doing some testing with the Al-peen A110 ‘72.

We were at Fisherman’s Ranch II, having a truly great time, but realized a flaw in the game :boggled:.

The pits at Fisherman’s make you auto-drive straight through & will not repair damage. At least not in our 10 min Endurance Race. Possibly if we went with laps instead it would have changed?

So if** I still wanted to choose the fisherman’s ranch and we could not repair damage, would that be an acceptable combo?

We are testing back up combos right now.

I was going to suggest turning off damage regardless, given the chaos we’re going to see in the dirt.
