Thanks for the responses so far. Looks like we can make two rooms and split it 13/11 with one tentative. So, one of the guys in Room 2 needs to volunteer to host. I'll summarize the settings below. Please look closely which room you are allocated to.

You can recruit more drivers. There are probably room for 4-5 more. Any newcomers, please still post here and we will add you to a room. Ill post the final driver lists before we open the rooms. We will also use this thread to communicate before the race to make sure we can balance the numbers as much as possible before the start.

See the banner for the details. The room settings are on the left and in the middle, the Program Schedule is on the right hand side. Try to show up no later than 9:25 pm so that we can do the anthems and go through the start-up procedure :sly:

Special settings are below the banner.

Set race start time at 6:30 AM with Time Progression at 8X

If someone DC during Qually we can complete the Qually. Host should take a picture and then line the room up manually with the DC driver(s) at the back of the grid in the reverse order they disconnected

Can we have mics on during the race for the purpose of spotting and "my bad" moments?

I dont have a problem leaving the mics on, but it puts additional load on the network. Remember, if you DC early in the race then it is game over. We dont want to do that to others. Also, there are some squeaky steering wheels and loud background noise with some guys. So, maybe better to put it on mute and if you have to say something, unmute - say it - mute it. There are about 4 or 5 places on the track where you can do that safely.

Oh yea, not to leave it on, just have it available so we can chime in when needed. I haven't had any DC issues lately or ever that much at all so I feel safe. I always reconnect and clear cache before going into a lobby anyway.

I can open a room as soon as i am able. Most likely 6:15

Ok, if nobody else volunteers, then please do. We can confirm later in the day. I would like to see the rooms open by around 6:00 Pacific (7:00 Mountain or 9:00 Eastern) time

It would be great if you could get the room open closer to 6:00, even earlier would be better to allow practice time.

I'm sure some people will join super early to drive and get fuel out of their cars just to be lighter for qualifying. Or will that reset when qualifying starts?

It all resets the track time, the fuel load, the amount of tire wear. It even resets before the race with a clean slate.

@Rednose58 I feel like an idiot because I used expired epoxic glue and it never gots dry. I can't race tonight even in automatic because the plastic frame got broken too. :banghead::yuck:
Have a great race

Does the lower PP car really help even out the pace even though D1&2 guys are faster?

Not as much as I hoped it would. When I tested the cars I was about 7-8 seconds faster in the higher PP car. So, it might not even it out as much as I hoped, but it will help the mid-pack to be closer.

It looks like it is very difficult to slow down an Alien..... :boggled:

@OscarMorales may be able to host and open the room early. He has been ready to open D2 when needed.

@Wolfsatz confirmed

Doesn't all races start with a full tank of gas?

BTW... is practice going to be allowed at 9?

@Die_Birdy_Die was able to keep up and actually drove off with his car. So I guess the cars for D3/D4 either have better aero or suspension that allows for much better handling.

I love being able to turn up my personal BGM 👍

When Mics are turned off

We could make them lower engine power to 95% :)

we are stronger on the RM tires then the D1-2 guys we also don't have to work as hard to drive the car although we crash more than them it's still going to be a big gap however.
